This is a old-school, no-frills barbershop, run by people who know mens hair. Pampering and special treatments are non-existent, so dont go into it expecting that, and if you want to do something really crazy with your hair, maybe go somewhere else. But if you want a traditional cut or fade, you wont find better quality for your dollar anywhere else in the Bay Area. A basic cut is $12, but Larry executes it better than salons where Ive paid 3 times that. Its because hes committed to his craft, he takes his time, and he sweats the small details that make all the difference. I will regularly make a special trip to the South Bay just to get my hair cut by this man.

Asked for not to much off the sides and in fairness is probably *is* a bit longer than it was after my first Air Force ROTC Boot Camp haircut 40 years ago. When it was over, I pointed that out, and the barber said "It only *looks* short because I put some lotion on it. The good news is I dont have to brush from an inch and a half above my ears down. My "one day without shaving" 5-o-clock shadow is longer. If you like super short military haircuts, go for it If not.. well.

Tthis is the only shop in the bay area that does straight raiser shave for the kids.we Indian call it mundane,monden,mundon.What it dose. is open the pores or the little wholes in the head you will not believe it, my son barely have hair .the shave of my son s head helped him to have a wonderful nice healthy hair..I got my self a hair cut too ,my hair is not easy to cut ,superb job thats why i wanna give this shop ********** 10 stars

Great place, awesome service at excellent prices. Wont be going anywhere else in San Jose after finding this spot. Note that it is cash only though, totally worth the stop at the ATM. They take their time and give the kind of shave and haircut youd pay sixty bucks for at most barbers.

This place always cuts my hair exactly right. I go to other places and the hair salonists dont listen to what I want. The men who cut my hair here are very efficient and do their work quickly. It is also very affordable. I have always had a good experience.

$15 cut and the guy said hed been cutting hair for 37 years and teaches at multiple barber schools. He did a great job and definitely knew what he was doing

This guy knows his stuff. For a simple fade he used 4 different clippers and 3 different scissors to compensate for hair type and head shape.
