Lion Market is a no frills Chinese/Asian owned store. When you walk in your overwhelmed with the traditional overpowering "fish smell", which once you get used to it is more than made up for the quality produce at great prices and extensive selection of fish and related seafood items. This is not an epicurean experience by any sense, but a safe, dependable environment for Asian related food with a lighter selection of traditional items you would expect at your local Safeway. Service is usually non existent and there are very few English speakers, however its usually not an issue. Highly recommended for fish, produce and the price is much more competitive than Safeway/Lucky making this a go to shopping destination.

A small deli like environment, with a well stocked market. Some of the best Persian food ive had the pleasure of eating, great prices, very friendly staff. The food is prepared in a very traditional manor, and the recipes used are reminiscent of those found in my grandmothers own kitchen.

Very friendly middle eastern place with tasty food. Very authentic. One of the best middle eastern places Ive found in the bay area, and Ive spent a few years in the middle East, so I know what Im talking about.

Very tasty kobideh (ground beef) kebob, delicious tea, great price. The only disappointment was that they charred the veggie kebob we ordered -- the outsides were black but the insides were raw.

Friendly middle eastern deli with good food and friendly staff. Not a fast paced store but perfectly comfortable for a fresh smoothie or a cup of Turkish coffee alongside some baklava.

The food there was amazing! I got gormeh sabzi with tahdiq, lamb, Barg, koobideh, Ashe reshteh and it was all delicious!! My new favorite Persian place.

The food beats the stuffing out of those so called high end restaurants in Saratoga. Natural, well prepared, and reasonably priced.
