I JUST WISH YOU HAD A WORKING ANSWERING MACHINE...its hit or miss if anyone ever answers the phone and we have had some pretty unstable mountain roads as of late...i wanted to call in and excuse my granddaughter natalia testa for her absence this past 3 weeks but theres no where i can leave a message except here~from nattys nana and her transportation~ now spring 2017....i had to pull natty from this school....after the last class we attended she had a substitute teacher named jeweles who although she was drinking water throughout the entire class in front of the students refused to let the kids break for a drink til 1 hour and 10 minutes into class....then when my granddaughter got distracted (shes 9 years old) jewels yelled at her in front of her piers and insisted she go to the back of the line....she was still thirsty....same day...same class....enough with this money gauging estblishment...when jewels called to apologize she said she was about to promote natty to the next level....natty learned choreography here for 1 performance but to this day she was never taught to step to the beat of a song....GREATLY DISAPPOINTED!...this same person Jewels argued with me when another customer when into chemical shock and stopped breathing and i yelled call 911...she was afraid of legal ramifications if this customer was to refuse help....she wasent breathing for 15 seconds and totally unconscious...i demanded and even said i would pay for the ambulance if she would just place the call..(i have no cell phone)....the woman had suffered a bad reaction from medication following cancer surgery and was hospitalized overnight...she is ok today....had she been left under jewels misguided direction she would had temporarily recovered long enough to drive herself home and continued to use the same medication~...very poor judgement on Jewels part....i have arrived to the school only to find the doors unlocked and no teacher showing up til the last 15 minutes of what should have been a class...someone there needs to communicate and set into place some real ground rules for professionalism....this is as amateur and money grabbing an operation as i have EVER seen!

My two daughters and I have been dancing with Melanie for over 10 years. She is an inspiration to us on so many levels. Not only is she a wonderful and dedicated teacher but she loves and supports her students as if they were family. She takes the time to talk to them and listen to their needs and concerns. She is extremely generous and does whatever she can to make the financial aspect work. A great many scholarships are given without any publicity or fanfare. Participation and getting people involved is a main concern of Melanies and has always taken precedent over money and making a profit. I dont know how many times Ive heard her say," Just come take a class. See if you like it. Youll do fine." Her staff are also very enthusiastic and encourage their students to come and learn. Their motto is, "Everyone can learn, if they try and give it their all." This is a studio where family, commitment and the love of dance are valued. Agape Dance is a vital addition to this town and community.

Agape Dance Academy is wonderful dance studio. It was started by Melanie Useldinger who was a professional dancer with San Francisco Ballet. Agape Dance Academy is a classical ballet studio where the students learn the art of ballet in a loving and warm environment. The teachers are classically trained and extremely qualified. The studio puts on an absolutely beautiful performance of the Nutcracker in the winter and another well known ballet in the spring. I would highly recommend Agape Dance Academy to any student who wants to learn, have fun and have many opportunities to perform on stage.

Its been a wonderful experience to have watched and participated in Agape Dance Academys growth. We have loved our experience. My children and I enjoy watching the shows and dancing with the community that is at Agape Dance.
