My son started his first private piano lesson at the Veksler school over a year ago when he was just 3.5 years of age. We had tried another private piano teacher before this and had felt very disheartened. But I am glad we tried the Veksler School! The teachers at the school are extremely dedicated and focused on teaching and catering to each age group separately. With our son, we found the teacher had an amazing amount of patience - getting through to a 3.5 year old with music lessons on the piano is a tough job - my son at just the age of 5 can now recogise wrong notes after playing a song once! Not only teaching, but the staff also helps inculcate a lot of confidence in children with their patience and understanding that each age group is different and moreover, each child is different. We have seen that piano lessons have improved our sons concentration, coordination skills and raised his self esteem. At the Veksler school, they even organise recitals at the theater where the children get an opportunity twice a year to play on stage. Some added benefits are the professionally set up music studios designed for all ages- adjustable benches, foot stools, a professional environment, friendly staff, a place where students can learn both music and dance. We first heard of the Veksler Academy from one of our friends who had their son enrolled there at the same age - 3.5 years. Now we would happily recommend to parents with kids as young as 3.5-4 that piano classes can be an extremely useful tool in their childs learning and growing process. Atleast with our son enrolled at Veksler Academy we do feel fortunate that we found the correct place for his private lessons!

My daughter is going to Veksler since Feb17 for Ballet Class. I am completely satisfied with this school and thankful to the management for providing the kids an opportunity to perform at stage. My daughter had really good time during the classes as well as performance day. Ms. Poon is really fantastic and I must say I am lucky to have her as my daughters teacher. She has been very patient with all the kids during classes, train them, motivate them to learn and perform well. In month of May, she spent almost 1 to 1.5 hour every Saturday on her own time to teach dance (extra class at no additional cost!). Her attitude, energy and patience is amazing. She continuously provide tips and talk to parents on how to improve the skills. Ive one suggestion for the management, please try to keep a gap of 10-15 minutes between each class. Most of the time, the classes get spilled over and parents/kids keep waiting outside. I guess this is not the fault of teacher but if there is grace period then it would not affect next class.

Addresses each student as an individual. This a convenient location where you can take multiple kids taking multiple classes in dance and music. My 4-yr old daughter has been taking dance and piano lessons, and she just participated her first piano recital with the school. Mr. Veksler is very attentive and encouraging. He made sure a student as young as my daughter has a very positive experience in the recital. Before the performance, the school held rehearsals for new performers and in particular, Mr. Veksler kept me well informed of what will happen at the recital so that my daughter is well prepared. He was also thoughtful to put my daughter as the second player during the performance -- so that she could watch how the 1st student perform, and she doesnt lose her attention waiting too long for her turn. My daughter came out of the recital very encouraged and felt more motivated to learn piano. Mr. Veksler did a great job!

My children started attending piano lessons at the Veksler Academy at ages 3 1/2 and nearly 6 with Miss Betsy and and Mr. Edward respectively. Both teachers have worked with each childs needs and encouraged growth and exploration. Weve been with them for nearly four years now and we are quite happy with the kids progress. I am jealous of their fluency with the keys. The 2 music recitals every year are a big deal for the kids that they look forward to. The Winter recital was just this past weekend. Mr. Veksler and his team put a huge effort in as they always do to help the kids succeed and a feel great about their accomplishment. My daughter joined Miss Lauras ballet class 2 years ago and has enjoyed it as well. She is always excited about the year-end performances on stage as well as the Winter show she puts together in the studio. We all enjoy watching the pictures and DVDs from each performance.

I am so happy that my son started taking piano lessons at 3-and-half. He was very excited on the first lesson and was eager to see his teacher every week. I did not force him to practice during the first 2 months as teacher recommended and on the 3rd month my son start opening his piano book and playing some of his easy songs. I was just thrilled! Its been 6 months since he started and he is at the end of his first book. Teacher encourages him to participate in Spring Recital and I cant wait to hear my son playing on the stage in the theatre. Thank you to this wonderful school and teachers for such inspiring experience. I dont understand why some patents waste their money for low quality group lessons instead of private lessons. It requires more patience but the result is outstanding. I would highly recommend this school to parents who want to see their children enjoying lessons and making amazing progress.

Our experience at Veksler Academy of music has just been great so far. My 5 year-old kid has been taking the Piano lessons for the past 1 year, while Ive been attending the violin lessons for the past few months. Although my interest to learn music had always been there, but somewhat latent in me, I got a renewed inspiration and confidence to do so after experiencing the conducive environment for learning at the Veksler Academy of Music. The teachers are very friendly and they make sure the kids progress in their lessons through regular practice assignments. My wife and I were overwhelmed to see the fantastic performances of the talented and well-trained kids at the recently held recital, and were thrilled to see our kid overcome his stage-fright and perform his piece flawlessly and confidently--thanks to his teachers! Thanks Vadhiraj

My daughter started learning piano from here and takes private lessons. She started when she was 3yrs and 8 months. Her concentration and musical sense has increased since then. She gave her first recital when she was 4 yrs and 3 months and the second recital just this month. Both she did well. What I like the most is, the teacher is very nice to the kids and is a perfectionist. There is no compromise for the musical theory and practical playing. All the recitals, are very professional. All the kids need to play without seeing. Even in the class, they pass a song, only when they play without seeing perfectly. My daughter looks forward to the class every week. I really think, investing our time and money in the best piano school from the beginning matters the most for our children.

Ive learned piano for seven years, and I can honestly say that it has changed my life. Introduction into the world of music was something that was the beginning of a breathtaking adventure. Out of all the schools I have seen, attended, and played at, I have to say that the Veksler Academy of Music and Dance is by far the best. The staff are well trained, and the facilities are well maintained. I can personally vouch for music from experience. What makes the difference in ones musical journey is the teacher, something I found out the hard way. I have to say that the Veksler Academy of Music and Dance has teachers who are truly passionate about teaching, and they will make every effort to make sure that their students find the same love for music that we are all so entitled to have.
