We went to learn salsa. I had done lessons before, whereas my boyfriend had never had one in his life. He was willing to try it out, and perhaps make it a weekly routine so that we could cut some rug at parties. So we join a lesson, and the instructor (a man) is attentive. He keeps having us switch partners. My boyfriend ends up with another instructor, female. She keeps telling him, over and over again that hes "doing it wrong". Well, of course he is, its his first lesson ever. She then tells him shell be right back, and walks away, leaving him standing alone while we practice. She didnt come back and stood chatting with other people just a few feet away. Needless to say, we didnt return for more lessons. And the worst part is, he was doing fine, but she completely killed his desire to learn salsa. Apparently its annoying to actually have to teach someone how to dance.

Took Argentine Tango lesson here a little over a year now, very happy with this place after horrible 1 month experience from other so call teacher in Pasadena Acay something. Angel and Julie are committed instructors, they love to teach and make sure their students learn and understand Argentine Tango ( to improvise dance ). They even dance with students and correct them to make sure everyone can lead and dance correctly, the more experience students are also nice and willing to help which make us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank Julie for helping me understand and lead properly also thank Angel for sharing your vast knowledge of steps and break them down so we can do it without much trouble.

I started taking Tango classes 2 months ago. I had no dancing experience of any kind. Julie and Angel have made learning for someone with "2 left feet" like myself both fun and possible. They are simply amazing at making it all understandable. They emphasize the basics while keeping it fun. I recommend this to anyone looking for a new and fun activity. FYI - most people come to class without a partner and thats never an issue as everyone dances with everyone.

The instructors here teach with passion and patience. We had zero experience and two left feet and we learned much more than we expected in just one hour! We are definitely making this a regular thing.
