I had signed up for this almost 3 years ago. I went to one event and hated it! I had never used it thereafter and I never plan on ever using it. Since I went past the 3 days allowed to cancel, I could not cancel the contract. Per some incredibly rude guy with the accounting department, he said that I have to pay at least half of the contract price in order to release me from paying all of it. Since funds were tight, I could not afford to do so. Now, that I have paid over 80% of the contract price ($745 left), I am told by a different person, Wendy, that I must pay $500 now and she will terminate that contract. What happened to what the other guy said? Her reply was "he no longer works here and he lied when he said that". Her attitude was beyond rude. She literally hung up the phone on me after she said "take it or leave it". That is how Events and Adventures treat their customers. The few times I have called their customer service trying to cancel this, I have encountered only RUDE people unwilling to help. I gave them over $3,500 for a service I never used and never will use. But their greed wants additional money from a customer who they know had never used their service. I am disgusted with them!

Fun club, good people. My friends outside of the club base all their outings around alcohol so this was a pretty awesome change. Ive been white water rafting, sailing, played trampoline dodge ball, hiking, camping, disco rollerblading, swing dancing, line dancing, horseback riding (basically naming off my most memorable events, the list goes on.) The membership is less than my bar tabs. I probably never would have made friends with the people Im hanging out with now because we probably would have never crossed paths. For newcomers, dont be shy, everyone is friendly. I was nervous when I walked into my first event (volleyball) and everyone seemed genuinely pleased to meet me. I recommend trampoline dodgeball for a first event if youre athletic (or need to get in shape haha)- everyone gets fired up! Its like initiation ;) The dating scene is chill, you basically get to know everyone on a friendship basis so dating is easy. Been in the club 7 months so far, loving it.

I really want to let the folks know in this area how great it is to be a member of this private club! I joined in July 2015, so I have almost finished my first year. In that year I have made so many friends and met my amazing man through the club. An advantage to this club is having access to all nine clubs calendars! I visit San Jose at least four times a year so this works great for me! I just open the Santa Clara calendar when in the area and sign up! Its great for those of us who travel!

It is so much fun hanging out with the people at Events and Adventures. We all have so much in common, single, fun and adventurous. Always a lot of events and adventures to choose from every day of the week, all over the SF bay area. There is so many great things to do it makes me want to forget about work. Ive met some great people there and looking forward to more good times.

I joined events and adventures as a way to meet people while on extended worm trips. There are groups in most major cities, your membership is valid at all the locations. Beats sitting at hotel bars or watching TV in the room. Couldnt be happier.

Very nice very nice, this is a one of a kind organization, that most people dont even know about! Although there are minor areas which could have some mending, it is amazing overall!

I travel for work all over the states and it is soooo nice that when I travel california, I have a group to go do stuff with instead of hanging out in a hotel by myself.
