Ive been a client of Marina Kennard, a stylist and esthetician at Salon of the Oaks, for the past 18 years. The reason Ive remained Marinas client is because of her skill, her professionalism, her vibrant personality, and her dedication to her craft. Marina makes an effort to stay current with new products and techniques, and continues to hone her skills by taking classes and attending shows and seminars. I enjoy the atmosphere at the Salon, and with Jamie at the front desk welcoming each client, it makes it an even better experience. I look forward to my monthly visit to get my hair cut and colored. I am always ready to recommend Marina highly whenever someone asks for the name of a stylist. Besides all this....theres ample parking!!

I have been having my hair cut by Penny for approximately16 years now. I first had my hair cut by her when she was with another salon. She also cut my daughters hair starting from when they were still in a stroller. When she went to Salon of the Oaks, we followed her over there. My daughters are 21 and 19 now and none of us have had a haircut by anyone else in all of those years. My daughters refuse to have anyone else cut their hair and will wait until they are home on break to get an appointment with Penny. Needless to say, we love Penny and the work that she does!

Each stylist is an independent contractor, so dont expect the management to do much if theres a problem. The stylist I saw, Elsa, doesnt pay attention and will cut your hair so that one side is shorter than the other. Also, when she does highlights, she doesnt get the highlight all the way to the root - so once you leave it already looks like you had your hair done two weeks prior. You get what you pay for I guess.

Brittany did an amazing job on my now bright red hair. Completely love it. Barely faded even after I was pushed in to a chlorine pool. She took time and I highly recommend going to her if you want an exotic color.
