I went in for a color consultation on Thursday and Monica and I looked at colors and made an appointment for Saturday. I wasn’t fully confident in her, but I thought ‘hey, what could she possibly do to ruin it?’. Boy was I wrong! I went for my appointment on Saturday, and left 4 hours later in tears! She tried to dye my hair 3 times, and had to blow dry my hair each time, which is super damaging! She even used a hair brush (instead of a comb) on my wet hair!!! She really didn’t know what she was doing! I ended up with bright orange roots, while the rest of my hair was dark brown. The stylist actually blamed my hair, saying it was my hair’s fault that she couldn’t get it the right color!!! I left in tears! I didn’t pay for the color. But she did make me pay $35 for the cut! I couldn’t believe I had to pay for anything! I had go to another salon the next day for a $185 color correction, and the girl who did my color correction said that it looked like I had done my hair myself. I had to tell her that I actually went to a salon, and they were the ones that ruined my hair! After having to spend over $200 and having my hair get super damaged along the way, I finally have the hair color that I want, thanks to a color correction at another salon. I would never ever recommend this salon to anyone!!! Especially not for coloring!!!! Stay away!

I went to Bella once, just to try my new hairstyle that was created by Monica, it has been almost 6 months and I still cry for the short hair she did to me, I had been waiting since last few months for my hair to grow which was below my shoulder to almost 5 inches up...cant believe, she kept chopping off my hair like .. I cannot explain how bad it was, I left the salon almost crying... I didnt feel like paying her at all forget the tip... initially I told her to trim my hair so that my beautiful steps remained, but she evened it out, when I asked her what she did, she goes with some zigzag scissors to remove the volume of my hair, she said because I have the huge volume, I am unable to see the steps, and she goes cutting the layers which left me about 3 inches of hair in the first layer, what the heck... My friends laughed at my hair style and some were pitying.... I just recommend one thing, this lady MONICA, stay away from her, she does all kind of experiments with your hair... BEWARE!!!

I went for a color for the first time, my hair was all messed up, with various colors I never wanted.... because I always did my own hair at home and never got the results I wanted, I was so afraid of going to a salon, because Im very picky with my hair... but some one recommended me to Monica when she saw my hair it was in a really bad shape... She give me the most beautiful color thats compliments me, great hair cut and style to! She did an awesome job I am now committed I go faithfully for my touch ups... I love my hair I will recommend Monica to everyone and kind person too. thanks again, Gina

I started going to Bella back in December and Monica has done a great job on my hair every time! I love how she can put her own creativity in hair styles and she just knows how to handle my hair. Im usually nervous about letting a professional handle my hair because in the past, Ive left the salon unhappy with the end product; it seems as though my hair never comes out how I ask but Monica definitely restored my faith! The only thing I dont like is that they are closed on Mondays and Sundays :-).

I have been going to this place for years. I always look good when I leave ( sad too for missing my long hair). Sometimes they have other people working there and they come and go and are not always trustworthy but the owner knows what she is doing. So be confident and ask for the owner to work on you if you just walk in for the first time or make an appointment.

I love Bella Hair Salon!! I am extremely picky when it comes to who can take care of my hair and I have trusted Monica with my hair care needs for years!! My hair is nearly as healthy as it was when I was a child!! She layers it perfectly and is very technically sound. She makes suggestions of what I can do in between appointments--and I recommend her highly!!
