If you value your time this is not the place to get your hair cut. They only accept appointments for people getting their hair colored. If you want a simple haircut you can call ahead but no more than an hour before going in. Calling in however, is no assurance that you will actually get a haircut at the scheduled time. I called in ahead of time and was told to come in at a set time. When I got there I was told that they had a number of hair colorings to do and that Id probably have to wait for atleast 45 minutes and maybe longer if they couldnt get to me before other people with color appointments came in . Im not sure why they didnt think to tell me that when I called in earlier. Astoundingly, when I asked what I could do in the future to assure I can get a haircut at a designated time without waiting an hour, I was told, "nothing". I guess there is one thing I can do differently, get a hair cut somewhere else.

I went in or a trim and was charged over $50! I thought this was supposed to be a bargain. I have perfectly straight hair and it was cut straight across the back (no clips even used) and then blow dried. I was told that since the stylist used a round brush, it was considered "styling" and was a premium charge. When I wrote to the corporate headquarters, they told me that the salon was a franchise and independently operated. I contacted the Manhattan Beach Supercuts directly and was met with no response. I will be sure to spread the word - if you want to spend a fortune, go to a high-end salon that will give you what you pay for - avoid Supercuts!

I have been growing out my hair since 2012 when I donated it. I asked the guy working there for "3 inches" off to clean up my ends & bangs trimmed, guy cut 12 inches off, I know cause my husband measured. My hair was 1/2 way down my behind & is now a few inches from my shoulders. If i was going to cut that much I would have done it properly so I could donate it, I am a year round volunteer for the ACS. Im extremely upset.

Be prepared to sit and wait for a long period of time. Whatever time they say, double it. I went in on my lunch and spent the entire hour waiting, while people who walked in after went ahead of me. The hair stylists seemed more interested in their personal conversations than doing their jobs. If you value your time and customer service, please go elsewhere.

Ive had a nice haircut every time Ive been here. If you dont like waiting, just call ahead. They are very accommodating for call-ins.
