Dave: The man, The myth, The legend. I was introduced to Dave through a friend when I decided to grow out my beard. I needed a beard master to guide me to the promised land. He is truly a master at his craft; an artist with the scissors as his paintbrush. Combine that with one of the realest human beings on this planet and you have an unbeatable combination. I would drive about an hour each way to see Dave. After buying my second office that was further away, I was forced to make a change and I still havent found someone that can match his expertise, personality, and overall experience. Ill sign off the way Dave probably remembers me: ~the dentist.

HORRIBLE service - could not NOT recommend strongly enough... after a very casual conversation (to put it lightly) about timing for the next available appointment time, I decided that I wouldnt be able to wait for the next appointment. I was told that it "could be as short as 30 min or as long as an hour." Which is fine and understandable, I was just dropping in as a walk-in. But telling a potential customer to F*** off while leaving is not only completely unacceptable, but extremely disrespectful. There are way better barbershops in the area - dont waste your time here.

I brought my teenage son for a cut here, and imagine Mom and a kid this age both liking the shop, people, and atmosphere and you can see its one of kind. His cut was meticulously and beautifully done, and is as nice growing out as it was when it was done. The stylist was friendly and really listened to him about his preferences. Their prices are reasonable for any area of L.A., let alone Venice. There is nothing bad about this place at all. Very highly recommended.

Ive been a return customer for a while because its right down the street. Just went in for a walk in.... 30 minutes later another guy comes in wanting a shave. The manager tells me hes going to let him go ahead of me and I can wait for the next barber. 1 hour later I still hadnt gotten into a chair. Not coming back until they can figure out how to run a business.

All of the people that work here are awesome. They are super conversational, laid back and know what they are doing/talking about. I got a small tattoo on my finger, and the tattoo artist took his time making sure it was perfect and exactly how I wanted it. I had a lot of fun when I was in there - even just while waiting and talking to the staff!

Nice people, good music, complimentary beer, good people watching through the window. Excellent cuts and attention to detail. Richie, Kenny, Dave, and Teddy have all done superb jobs, repeatedly.

Inconsistent. You get good beard trim one time and bad the next. So I trim my own now. Parking hard to find.
