I have been coming here for years. Majority of the time Ive been satisfied with my haircut. However, the recent barber has cut my hair three times, and each time was not correct- I continued to let her cut my hair due to excessive waits for Monica, and hoping last time was an accident. I ask for a simple 0-3 low fade with a blended top and line up, everytime. It seems each time something else is wrong; crooked blending, high fade when asked for low fade or no fade like I got today- I was given a buzzcut side with a choppy blend high on my head- like a high and tight but no fade. I think she moves too fast or simply doesnt listen, but her quality is low and not consistent. That being said, Ive never gotten a bad haircut from Monica (the owner) or Tino (Hes no longer there); which is why I didnt give one star. But the excessive wait, for a subpar haircut 50% of the time, with no modern POS system to accept a card is forcing me to go elsewhere. If I go back I will have to wait the expected hour for Monica unless I get lucky on timing. I hate to do it, but my perspective of quality threshold for services rendered has dropped below acceptable for me. Wish you the best Monica.

It was the second worst haircut my kid ever had. It was sloppy and so obviously crooked that kids actually laughed at him when he went to school. We had to take him somewhere else to get the haircut fixed because we were concerned they would mess it worse than they already had; this haircut was so bad that the barber at Sports Clips asked if any of her locations did this & felt bad she was going to have to charge us full price when we told her Highlands created this. I read the reviews to Highlands before we went & thought we made a good choice. After this experience, we wont go back but we did find a great barber @ Sports Clips so one good thing came from this depressing experience.

Ive been looking for a real barber since moving to Colorado 10 months ago. This place is definitely the real deal! Ive been to a number of places that call themselves a barber and have a barber pole, but really they are just hairstylist. The folks working here seem to have been trained in the classic barber techniques which is awesome! Best haircut Ive had since moving here. Ill definitely be back.

Ive been going to this establishment for around 20 years and NEVER received a bad cut or anything that would send me to seek professional help because of a depressing experience! Ive recommended this place to many co-workers and family members who still continue to come here for a quality cut at a good price!

Had to find a new home for some of my clients(as Im moving out of state) and Tino is the best. I stumbled upon this tiny shop in December 2015; i had surgery so couldnt do my husbands hair and he needed a haircut bad, well Tino took over and did a fantastic job every time! So Im sending my clients his way.
