One of the absolute worst employers I have ever worked for. It was like constantly walking on egg shells, minute to minute you didnt know what mood she was going to be in. When she came in a room, you didnt know if it was to yell at you for something or talk or what. Also, she only feeds kids until theyre "satisfied" not until they are full. My daughter, who was already pretty petite, started to lose weight when we started there. They never wanted to go grocery shopping to lunches were always pizza, mac n cheese, chicken nuggets, and pasta, everyday. When I put in my two weeks, she started to treat me really badly. She yelled at me in front of parents for things that werent my fault, a lot of times I was nonexistent to her, and she started to take it out on my 2-year-old daughter. My daughter said hi to her and jessica simply looked at her and looked away and didnt say anything. Needless to say, my daughter took a little beating to her confidence that day. I didnt even finish out my two weeks because we were being treated so poorly. When I got my last paycheck, I was supposed to get close to $300 dollars and jessica only gave me 5 dollars. Yes, FIVE DOLLARS. She took money out of my paycheck without any notice or permission and also for things she shouldnt have taken money out for. Like free classes, a frame I didnt take, my background check, etc. Jessica constantly left on vacation and would be gone for a week at a time sometimes. She would leave other people in charge but they wouldnt get the director pay. They would always eat food from the kitchen and say "Im the one that paid for it". No, the parents paid for it for their children. So if you like your tuition money going to food for them to eat, then by all means. She paid the teachers really poorly. Teachers would make $12/hour IF they were lucky. While jessica and Steve would be bringing home $2,000 a WEEK. They always said they never had money for anything but that was false. In my classroom, we needed a new broom because all the bristles were caked with food and junk and it didnt more harm than good. Instead of going to the dollar store and getting a broom, I had to sit over a trash can cutting the ends of the bristles off for 45 minutes. I ended up with blisters all over my hands and 45 minutes of wasted time with the babies, because she didnt want to give up $1 to get a broom. Absolutely one of the worst employers ever. She didnt follow licensing rules and Colorado Shines until right before they showed up to do a check. I started in June and she didnt do my background check until the end of January. Thats roughly 8 months of not having a background check done. She would hire people on the spot, which is extremely dangerous because you dont know their background, they could be a sex offender for all they know. All in all, Jessica and Steven Lloyd degraded, disrespected, and trashed all the employees. And they wonder why they have an incredibly high turn around rate. What a sad and pathetic owner/director.

If I could rate ZERO Stars I would. When we toured the facility it was a great visit, everyone was friendly, it was a great location and we thought it was the best choice for our son. We had just moved to the area and it was a tough decision to choose the right Learning Center without knowing the area or anyone that attended the school. Our son has been in daycare since he was 7 months old, being in a learning center/preschool was something he was accustom to and enjoyed. When I picked up my son on day one I was amazed that the aftercare (in one big room) was out of control. Kids were running around screaming, the "teachers" that were watching the kids were young ladies that could care less about what was going on. When we got home my sons diaper was SOAKED, like it hadnt been checked in hours. This happened everyday that I picked him up for the 3 weeks that he attended this facility (thank GOD he only went three days a week). Everyday the staff in the afternoon just sat there and no one acknowledge me when I came to pick up my son. They could care less when we walked out the door. No one greeted us, said good bye, or turned an eye when we departed. My husband dropped off our son every morning and he screamed and cried to stay, EVERYDAY! We knew that is was not normal and we could not allow this to continue. When we would pass the school on the weekends he begged us not to take him back. We removed our son immediately and started him at a new school, WHAT A DIFFERENCE! He has been there for three days now and has not cried once. He enjoys school again! I wish I would have read the negative reviews before choosing this school, the two that were written sound exactly like the experience we had. Everyone is different, but please listen to your children when they speak. If they are unhappy, make a move. I promise you, it is worth any amount of money to see a smile on their face again... I hope this review will help you make the right decision. Good luck !

Busy Little Hands is the Best Place for anyones child!!! Grandson!!! or anyone with a future baby. They demonstrate pure professionalism in every aspect of business and show sound communication in customer service. They provide service for all ages and give character to each child in a extremely positive manner in building the and helping the child learn and interact with others. The staff are well trained and verse in supporting every need of every child they encounter. The staff gives so much to each child no matter how many mite be in the class room. As a proud and small business owner, Jessica works hard and must maintain a professional manner at all times. However, she is one of the best and most enjoyable people to work with. If I had a daughter, I would allow her to work under Jessica and this well run machine at Busy Little Hands. Running a small business with 10,000 sqaure feet to cover is a lot of work for such a wonderful woman of the business community. I completely disagree with anyone that would say "Busy Little Hands", is a bad place for their child. Our son loves everyone at the complex and they love him and so does Jessica. Jessica sets the example of a woman in business and works with each case carefully to ensure the safety and well being of each child. I would love to have your son, daughter, or grandkids experience what my family has with Busy Litte hands. This is one of the best and local places to send your children in the state. They work on making a difference and you should feel safe sending your little people to such wonderful staff and high-levels of management in working with kids. Jesscia and the staff will care and enjoy each child they encounter for years to come. If you are planning on daycare needs, please see the building and know that they are in great hands with "Busy Little Hands".
