We had Handyman Connection install some replacement windows and a storm door for us. What a nightmare!! Were still recovering. The fellow they sent out to do the work installed the storm door upside down and backward, leaving a gap you could throw a cat through. The door wouldnt close completely and never came close to locking. We tried to get Lowes & Home Depot to fix it for us after the Handyman installer left, but both said "no way". Once their installers saw the mess that Handyman Connection made, they wouldnt touch it. They were concerned it would void any warranty we might have. The replacement window installation was even worse. The same installer used a circular saw to trim the window openings, but didnt bother to cover anything inside the house. He blew sawdust inside the dryer, washer, computers, clocks all over the rooms... it took WEEKS to clean up the mess, no exaggeration. Halfway through the installation (and after hed ripped out the old window) he realized that he hadnt measured one window opening properly and that the window we purchased wouldnt fit. He gave my husband the new measurements so my husband could start calling around to try and find a new window. After hours of calling and running all over town, it was determined that wed have to special order the window. When the Handyman wasnt in the room, I measured the window myself and discovered that hed given us the wrong measurements again!!! We finally got a new window and got it in. The Handyman left without finishing the inside of the windows or cleaning up the mess. The inspector that Handyman sent out after we complained said that the windows hadnt even been caulked and would have leaked at the first rain. He also discovered that our installer had torn several of the screens on the new windows, which have yet to be repaired. After much ado, the job was finally complete, but we will never use Handyman Connection again and would not recommend them to anyone. About the only thing that Handyman did without problem was cashing our check.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado has been serving families with critically ill children for over 26 years. Since opening our doors on February 14th, 1987, over 8,000 families have called our House That Love Built their home-away-from-home while their child was receiving necessary medical care at nearby area hospitals. As you can imagine, combining those numbers with our 125 + year old House, we occasionally have needs for repair and restoration work. Such was the case today. Unfortunately, recent heavy area rains found their way INSIDE, with a closet in need of drywall repair. I phoned Handyman Connection yesterday, and this morning, Helen G. arrived promptly at 9 am. She quickly assessed the repair and got to work. Moving quickly and efficiently, Helen professionally masked the carpet in the closet and removed the damaged paint and went about repairing the wall and ceiling beautifully. Since writing this review last week, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado also had the privilege of meeting Mark from Handyman Connection this week. Coming out to paint/prime the area Helen had patched and repaired the week prior, Mark’s abilities dovetailed beautifully with Helens work. Mark, too, arrived on time, got straight to work, and finished the area with precision and professionalism. In no time at all, the restoration of the affected area was completed. Each and every time weve had need, Handyman has responded quickly, with courteous, professional craftsmen. Their results have consistently met and/or exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Handyman Connection to anyone with repair needs.

We had purchased our first home 10 days before Christmas and what seemed to be an exciting time turned into a nightmare (well thats what we thought before Handyman Connection came out to help)!. My husband is in the military and left for Christmas leave, so we were not in our house until we came back shortly after the New Year. While we were gone, it had gotten extremely cold, the pipes had burst our first night in our new home, and we had a quite a bit of water damage throughout the house. Scott was awesome and came out immediately the next morning for an emergency repair, and for that alone we were truly grateful! We had several pipes replaced and our water up and running by that afternoon. He continued to make numerous trips to make sure all of our never-ending issues were fully resolved from all the damage that had occurred. I would also like to ackowledge Dustin, who was awesome as well and fixed one of our big electrical issues! We are now working with David and Mark who are repairing our flooring and drywall damages within the next few weeks. Every contractor we have worked with through Handyman Connection has been knowledgable and very professional! The prices are very reasonable and the contractors have worked with us to make this "disaster" as painless as possible. We feel that there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel thanks to every one of them! I know Handyman Connection will definitely be the first ones we call for all of our future needs! Thanks guys, you are truly great! :)

I was delightfully surprised by the quality of the work provided by Bart of Handyman Connection. I needed to have the lower level of my walkout rancher framed, dry-walled, and corner bead installed for my wood working shop. (This is my retirement hobby.) I also wanted to have the mudding, priming and painting completed as well. However, due to my desire to pay cash for all the work I couldnt do it all at one time. Handyman Connection worked with me and broke the project into two phases. The first phase was framing and hanging of the drywall. Bart and his assistant moved my equipment very carefully to allow themselves sufficient area in which to work. They were very respectful of my property and tools, which was deeply appreciated. They offered a couple of suggestions that were included in the framing of one outside wall that helped to make the workshop much more user friendly. I found their work to be very professional in quality and proved that they were proficient in their craft. They took their time to assure that the work was accomplished properly. At all times they were courteous. Bart was friendly and proved himself to be a trustworthy individual. He brought his own tools and was very careful to keep them separated from mine. I would not hesitate to recommend Bart and his assistant to my friends and neighbors or Handyman Connection for this type of work. I was completely satisfied with the work.

Dishwasher Installation. David T did some woodworking prep April 3rd. The work was highly satisfactory and David showed up on time, did the work and cleaned up before he left. I was very pleased with my lst experience with Handyman Connection and would definitely use this company again. Robert J. came out on April 19 to do an estimate related to the cabinet next to the dishwasher opening. He returned on April 21st and completed the work in a very satisfactory manner. He had to do some free lance work to fit everything in and his experience was most valuable as the cabinet is now better than when we moved into our home years ago. Again I am highly pleased with Handyman Connection and the workmen we have had come to our home. On April 24th the plumber Scott C came out to install the dishwasher since all the prep work had been done by David and Robert. Scott completed our total satisfaction with Handyman Connection as he was prompt, did the work quickly and checked the dishwasher by running a rinse cycle through to be sure there were no leaks. He cleaned up and was on his way to another appointment after completing our dishwasher installation after his other colleagues had done the necessary prep work. I would highly recommend Handyman Connection and the 3 employees who did our work and would use this company again without reservation.
