Im not sure why the other 2 reviews found the Shimmering Creek location so bad. This facility is almost brand new. I liked that it has an entrance you can get into only if you know the door code. You then have to sign your child out inside using a different code. There are security cameras, which was a must for me. The staff seemed friendly enough and I did not witness any yelling or unkind words toward the children. The staff lead in my sons room, Mallory, was very upbeat and polite. The playgrounds are tidy and have newer toys. My only complaint is the front desk staff. Sometimes they are not at the front desk for upwards of 20-30 minutes and I have had to wait to have questions answered. I never saw the director and the assistant director seems to do all the work. The DUBLIN (off N. Academy) location is certainly dirty and disorganized. No cameras, terrible playground, broken/old toys. I think this must be the facility the other reviews were talking about.

Every childcare center has its own issues . I can say though without a doubt, this center and the employees genuinely do care for your children. I have been on the employee side of this company and still after no longer working there am, on the parent side. I now fully understand the in/outs of the why and how things work. At the end of the day they are doing the very best they can for your child . The policys they have in place are to keep your child and other children safe. Besides if your kid is having diarrhea and another child gets sick too thats not fair to any of the parents or staff. My son is safe and cared for here and I fully trust them . For instance his school forgot to send him out for the bus... The Sunshine house bus driver and the sunshine house team refused to leave the school without him!!! I work and hour away and had they not followed thru my son would have been left at school...highly recommend this place for your child..

Beware: This daycare finds any and every reason to send your child home early and then say they cant come back for 24 hours without a doctors note. So if your child is teething expect to be inconvenienced often. There is the time missed from work, additional babysitting costs to supplement care while they cant go to daycare, doctor costs if you choose that route, and of course you still have to pay for the services not rendered. Additionally, it is like pulling teeth (pun intended) to have them administer any meds, even tylenol for teething. They are so afraid of a law suit they shy away from almost everything. Another huge inconvenience and it is really bad "child care" when your child needs relief.

Horrible place . The turn over rate is out of control . Your child will never feel comfortable . More than one bowel movement a day they will send your child home for 48 hours , but they let the kid who bites everyone come the next day . The director is a scam artist and probably the worst human u will ever encounter . Think twice about subjecting your child to a place that really only cares about money !

I love that this place is open earlier and later than a lot of other places. I also like that the meals are provided as that gives my child just that much longer to sleep in. The fact they are open on snow days is a real bonus. It seems that schools are shutting down a lot more often these days so having a place to take my son is vital in keeping my job.

Dont bring your children here. The staff is horrible, management is dreadfully terrible. They didnt seem to care about our family needs. Wont be recommending any families to this place.
