I did not have a good experience with this company. I lost the keys to my car, so I called to schedule a time for someone to come out and make a key. When on the call, I offered up the VIN number so they could make the key in advance, as I have had done before. He told me no that he would just come out and do it. I also asked a roundabout price and he said he would have to wait until he got here. This should have been red flags one and two. When he arrives, he looks at the car then proceeds to tell me pricing. First, it would be $30 just for the service call, then $195 for the key. I didnt say anything about the extra fee for the service call and let it go. He then proceeds to tell me that it would be another $65 to unlock the car. I asked why he didnt tell me about these fees when I asked on the phone. He told me he didnt know if the car was locked. I told him that he could have asked and I would have told him then that it was. He danced around that and just mumbled something. I proceeded to mention that had I known there were all of the additional fees, then I would have called some other places before settling on this company. I also mentioned that I have gotten a key made for this car before and it was only $200 and they were able to make it in advance with the VIN number. He kept saying "for this car?" like I was lying, then started questioning me about the previous experience by asking when. I told him that wasnt relevant and I wish he would have been upfront with me about pricing when I asked. He told me he was just the technician and these werent his rules. I simply told him that he knew the upfront fees when I talked to him earlier, yet he never mentioned them. After going back and forth for a few minutes, I really started to get upset that he was calling me a liar and wouldnt take responsibility for not telling me in advance the basic fees associated with this call. He turned it around and told me he didnt like my attitude and proceeded to blame me for this. I told him it was poor customer service and he should have been straight forward with me from the beginning and I wasnt interested in his service. A simple apology for not being straightforward about pricing would have most likely just made me tell him to make the key. The lack of ownership, plus placing the blame on not only me, but the company made me walk away without a key. This all happened about 40 minutes ago. I have since called another company that accepted the VIN number and quoted me all fees on the phone ($220). Do not go with this company unless you like overpaying and being called a liar.

I locked myself out of my house, thankfully with my phone, but was panicked because my almost 15-year-old dog was locked inside and I was on my way to an appt. that I couldnt be late to. I called Mile High Locksmith and there were several calls ahead of me so they couldnt guarantee getting to me in the short timeframe that I required. I then called another locksmith, that advertised 15 minute service. The woman on the phone said, "well, its more like 15-30 minutes." First red flag. While I was waiting for the speedy company, Eddie from Mile High texted me to see if I had found anyone else. I mentioned the speedy company, and he said "Im just being honest in telling you an hour. The speedy company will also take that long, but wont tell you upfront." I liked his honesty. He also then texted me again and told me what a reasonable rate should be, suggested I not mention my distress about my dog because it might cause the other company to raise the price and offered to come when he could if the other company didnt pan out. As it turned out, the speedy companys 15-30 minutes ended up being 50 minutes. Second red flag. They also had not provided a quote during the call. Third red flag, and according to Eddie, very shady. When the speedy companys guy finally got here he tried jimmying my lock with two different tools, but it was a smart lock and wouldnt budge. When he realized it wasnt a speedy job and would require removing and possibly replacing the lock, he let me know that he was too busy with other calls and had to jet. He also tried to charge me $40 for doing nothing and leaving before he finished the job. Fourth and final red flag. In the meantime, Eddie texted, let me know he was done with his other calls and was in the area. Did I still need someone? He was there in five minutes, worked very hard to jimmy the lock, removed the lock when he realized he couldnt and then suggested I purchase a new lock and install it because it would cost less than having him do it. He even told me where the closest hardware store was. I cant say enough about Eddies professionalism and level of customer service. I wont call any locksmith company but Mile High if Im ever in this situation again. Its very heartening to find this level of personal attention in todays world.

Today I went to the dealership to try and get a key made for my 2007 Jeep Commander and was sold a key that didnt work on my vehicle because it has a chip in it that needs to be programmed. When I called back they told me that the key shouldnt have been sold to me without being programmed. He tells me that I can have the vehicle towed to them and they can take care of it in the morning. Since I work really early in the morning and had already spent half a day trying to figure out what to do about my transportation, missing work was not going to be an option. I hop on line and start searching and making calls. To no avail I keep getting way to high prices and a bunch of dead ends.... Finally after some searching I come across Mile High Locksmith and talk to a guy by the name of Amir he gives me the best deal I hear all day and says he will be over as soon as possible. An hour later I am answering the phone and Amir says "Im right outside... and in a matter of minutes I had a key made and my jeep was back in operation... If your looking for a good, fast, reliable, no hassle, way to get a lost key re-maid and dont want to deal with the hassle of leaving your vehicle in a bad spot... Give Amir at Mile High Locksmith a call... He also informed me that they provide many other services and that my key had a one year warranty.. Big shout out to Amir, he made an instant life time friend and customer in me... Thanks Amir and Mile High Locksmith for saving me a really big pain in the neck
