Overall, our project experience with Vivax was subpar and unsettling at times. We contracted with Vivax to replace 6 windows and a patio door as well as to repair some exterior woodwork and repaint the exterior of the house. We would definitely warn AGAINST using Vivax for any glass replacement job. Problems: - Huge lack of communication. Workers would show up much later than scheduled or not at all, with no communication or updates to us. We all have cell phones now, even a quick text message would have sufficed. We would be told to expect someone at 2pm, only to get a phone call at 5pm that theyre 1.5 - 2 hrs away but were still "on their way." We had scheduled a viewing at the downtown office to discuss a possible deck job on a Sunday morning, but no one was there when we drove out there and no one answered the phone when we tried to call. There would be hours or days of just having no clue what was going on with the window job, when someone would be coming to work or finish up, and it began to feel like we were always a last-minute rush job. - Team showing up without knowing what theyre going to do. The team to replace the glass didnt know which windows/door was going to be replaced. The team showing up to paint the house didnt realize that the shed was included in the job. We ended up feeling like we were under house arrest for large portions of the project because we didnt want something to get messed up. - Sloppy cleanup. The day after the glass replacement, we found straight blades in the grass when we went outside to play with our young kids. A shutter was placed in front of the dog door, which one of my dogs ran straight into at full speed. A pair of shutters were left hanging by a single screw each, which resulted in the shutters banging against the house for a few very windy days. One of the shutters was even ripped off and shattered on the deck just a few feet away from where one of my dogs was standing. I dont know what would have happened if it had landed on my dog. - Not a consistent feeling of professionalism. The first team that we had contact with showed up not realizing he was in charge of replacing some high windows and, after complaining to my husband about how people dont tell him what windows are being worked on, left to go get the required tools for the job. The van from the paint job left a large oil leak on the street in front of our house. The project manager asked us if we knew how the financing works, repeatedly remarking that he was new to the windows, to the financing, basically making us feel like for being the project manager, he wasnt very familiar with the project at all.

When we decided it was finally time to put a fresh coat of paint on our home, we called Vivax and 3 other local painting companies. Vivax took the time to understand our needs upon initial inspection of our home. The employees at Vivax truely go above and beyond to make your home their personal project! Amazing! Paul, the Estimate Professional, took 3 hours to address the many needs we had with our cedar sided home. (The national franchise company took 45 minutes...The other local company wanted to respond by text only...). Paul followed up immediately on the proposal and made the necessary additions as needed. Tremendously responsible and caring! Amazing Employee #1. Jess, Internal Project Coordinator, was absolutely amazing!!! She always took my call, answered my emails and was very responsive. When I called to apologize about bugging her, she would always tell me, we want it to be right! She truly wanted our home to be beautiful! Amazing employee #2! Matthew, Site Project Manager, was the most caring and professional contractor Ive ever dealt with when it comes to home improvement projects. He was responsible and took action when things went a sideways during the project with the wood worker. The wood worker initially was sloppy and did poor work. He is not a good representative of Vivax. When we needed this concern addressed, Matthew met me at my house after work and immediately addressed it. HE TOOK ACTION - PROBLEM RESOLVED!! The work was redone to my satisfaction and beyond thanks to Matthew!! Matthew was always positive and encouraged me to call with concerns. He would respond to texts and calls as if this was his personal home. From initial walk through, through the entire project, until completion, Matthew is a true professional... Amazing Employee #3! Anthony and his painting crew were outstanding! The worked 2, 12 hour days to get the job done. When they showed up they were kind, polite, professional, courteous, clean and hard working. This crew should be your crew for painting a house! This crew did an amazing job! Amazing Crew!! Our home is the gem of our neighborhood now - and we are very pleased with the outcome. In a world of mistrust with general contractors, Vivax is a company we trusted and their warranty is something they stand behind! Thanks Vivax for being AMAZING!!!

Vivax Pros recently completed painting the exterior of my house. It was a pleasure to work with Vivax every step of the way, from the quote to the final walk through. I live in an older home (built in the 1940s) that required A LOT of extra TLC. I worked with Paul for the quote. He thoroughly explained the painting process, the special prep process they would use because my house tested positive for lead, and the Vivax warranty. I received two other quotes from other companies and neither had the warranty or the ability to safely handle the existing lead paint on my house that Vivax offered. Once I committed to working with Vivax I worked with Jasmin to set up the project. She scheduled my job and answered all of my questions about the process. She even sent me popular color combinations when I told her I was having a hard time deciding on the color. I sent her multiple emails with questions over the course of the couple weeks leading up to the paint job and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. The day before my house was scheduled to be painted Keith, the project manager, completed an initial walk through with me. I was able to discuss specific concerns with him, he double checked my colors with me, and walked me through the process one more time. The next day the painting team, Felix and Nacho, began work on my house. They did an outstanding job! They started prepping my house in the morning and when I stopped by at lunch they had already moved on to painting the body of the house. Their attention to detail is second to none. My house required lots of scraping and caulking, especially around the doors and the garage and Felix and Nacho did not miss a thing. They even stayed late (till after 6 PM!) to get the job finished in one day because rain and snow was forecasted for the next day. Keith came by one more time the next day and completed a final walk through with me. He ensured that I was completely satisfied with the work and explained the awesome warranty one more time to me. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with the entire Vivax team. I couldnt be happier with the paint job and would highly recommend Vivax Pros to anyone looking to paint the exterior of their home.
