This morning I took my 4 year old granddaughter to Great Clips, Centerplace in Greeley. When I arrived they explained while there was only 1 person in store, there were several registered online and if they arrived they would go in front of us. I agreed I would wait a few minutes. Within 8 minutes of my arrival all 3 stylists finished and the person ahead of me was taken. Two of the stylists spent about 5 minutes cleaning up and then chatting with each other. At that time, my granddaughters aunt arrived with her 3 children-they had registered online. But she told one stylist we could go in front of her and the stylist didn’t object. The two stylists resumed their conversation and the other one came up and called on of my granddaughter’s cousins. I explained their mom said we go first-she rudely said, “No-there is no jumping in line.” I explained their mom was fine with it and she refused. I then left the shop and said I would never return. I can totally understand there’s no “jumping the line” but when someone says it is no problem and they are a relative as well, this seems ridiculous to me. I will not be returning. I was told by a few people outside that heard me and they tell me the Great Clips on 35th, is much better.

I think its wrong to rate great clips as a whole based on my experiece with one stylist but the lady who cut my hair didnt seem very motivated to do her job. She messed up my side burns and didnt exactly make me feel like I was in a comfortable enviroment throughout the time I was there. Maybe Ill give great clips as a whole another try, as that time was my first time, but I would not give the stylist the opportunity to cut my hair a second time because I did not like her work nor her general vibe.

I came in asking for a trim, because Im growing out my hair, and I got uneven layers. The stylist decided to cut one layer so short that barely goes past my cheek bones. I had long hair, but since this hairstyle was a choppy, unblended mess, I had to go into another stylist and get more length cut off to even it out. Overall, the Great Clips stylist didnt pay attention to any of my hair needs and did a really poor job. Luckily its hair and it will grow back, but Im still extremely disappointed.

Stopped in for the first time last Friday evening and had Daniella as my stylist...I had her cut over half my length in a new style and she did a FANTASTIC job. I left loving my hair and Ive received nothing but great compliments on the cut. Thank you!!

Everyone was friendly however, the same lady messed up my daughters and my hair. Choppy and un-even. Will not be going back. Which is too bad because the location is convenient for us.
