Im very picky when it comes to haircuts and after getting frustrated with the usual chain offerings for getting a simple haircut (which none could seem to accomplish), I started searching for something local and not part of a gimmicky chain (Im looking at you Floyds). I came across Brixton Barbers and saw many great reviews, so I decided to give them a try. My first time there, I had my hair cut by Kimber, and have been getting my haircuts done by her ever since. She doesnt rush through your cut and does a great job every time. Yes, it may be a little confusing at first to find their shop, as its a suite inside a salon complex, but they do a fantastic job there and have a great vibe going with their little shop. I have always walked out happy with my cut, and will continue going there. Prices are very fair for what you get, and now theyre rolling out a rewards program for repeat customers. I always go to Brixton now for my haircuts. I dont want to even chance it with anyone else.

I called Brixton Barbers inquiring about getting a haircut after buzzing my hair for 7 years and finally growing it out into a messy bunch of hair. I spoke to Nick, one of the two barbers at Brixton, and he told me that I would want to do the first time haircut which is essentially building a personal connection and really making sure the barber is on the same page as to what you want. He was booked until a week out so I scheduled an appointment with him then. I showed up on time and Nick was waiting. The shop is very small and definitely client focused. I asked him what would look best, mind you I had hardly a clue as to what I wanted or would be best. He moved from there and suggested a few routes. After choosing one he gave me an absolutely fantastic haircut and walked me through it as he went. I cannot recommend them enough, and I think the insanely high amount of 5 star reviews speak for themselves. I will be back!

Great local barber shop with 2 chairs and 3 barbers. I have been coming here for about 8 months and I am very happy with the results. Nick has been awesome from the start and he genuinely cares about how your hair looks and if you like it or not. If you have an idea of what you want Nick knows how to do it and he will give you his honest opinion on how he thinks it looks on you not just fed you a bunch of b.s. . Very glad to have found this place. Costs about the same as other chain shops but much higher quality work and having the same person cut your hair every time makes a big difference. Plus they have beer if youre of age.

It was very interesting. A bespoke haircut and beard trim and style. The hot towel and straight razor shave was amazing. Literally the best my beard has ever looked. I was a little leary of the sort of "hipster" vibe, but they actually did a very professional job on the hair. They are inside a warren of stylists (each operating inside a sort of mall of stylists in the strip mall building) but fairly easy to find.I think Im a little older than their target demographic, but if you want a great hair/beard cut at a good price I highly recommend them.

Nick has been cutting my hair for over a year now and he does a superb job!! Im picky about who cuts my hair, and Brixton Barbers are the only ones who get it right, time and time again. Both Nick and Matt are easy-going, great to talk to, and the whole overall vibe of the the shop is casual, comfortable, and chill. I couldnt ask for a better place to get a haircut; Brixton Barbers are definitely one of a kind. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Id follow Nick anywhere, wait a minute, I have! Nick is an Awesome Barber and you can count on him for a GREAT cut every time! He has been our (son & I)Barber for several years. Love the fact that even though he knows what cut you want, hell ask if there is anything different you want on this cut. I challenge him often and he has come through every time! Many of my friends have asked who cuts my hair and have come to Brixton Barbers.

This place is amazing! Very relaxed environment with great conversation and amazing service! First you kick back with a beer from their selection. Then they begin treating you like royalty with warm towels, warm foam and all the detail work you would never had thought of! You finish up with an amazing cut/shave! If I could give them 50 stars, I would! Ask for my barber Nick!!

Nick has been my barber for over six years. I was very happy he got out on his own and started his own shop. All the staff are good listeners to what you are looking for, in a cut and style. I like the extra products they sell, and I feel they are growing and changing theyre business as the demands and expectations of their clients change.

I travel for work, been forced to get my hair cut all over the country. Im consistently looking for the best Barber I can find. I have to say this is the spot. I always try to hold off my haircut for when Im back near here. I live in Erie and still drive out each time Im home. They know how a barber shop should be and what a cut is.

It was my first time at Brixton and I received an amazing hair cut, line up, and shampoo. Honestly if your done getting half ass haircuts from great cuts, Floyds, or what ever soul sucking place you goto then definitely goto Brixton. I literally pulled up a picture of what I wanted for Kimber and she killed it. It was an easy 5 star.

Ive been going to Kimber (Brixton Barbers) for almost two years and she is great, careful, pays attention to exactly what you want and is a perfectionist. I get "Razor fade" haircuts and because Kimber is a barber she can do razor fades as well as shaves! I dont know what I would do without her perfectionism! Thank you Kimber

These guys do a great job with cutting hair. Matt cuts my hair and every time I show him a picture of what I want my hair to look like he does it identically to it. He never rushes and always takes the time needed to make sure I am getting my money worth. Would recommend this place to anybody!
