I got a basic inverted bob. The haircut was okay but very fast and not the most perfect bob Ive ever seen. It usually takes a hairdresser a half hour to cut my hair as it is very thick. This cut took about 5-7 minutes and I later found straggling locks that I had to fix. Still, for the price, I cant complain so much about the cut. What made this experience bad was the hairdresser. I am young but have gray streaks in my hair. She had conventional ideas about beauty and was very judgmental about the gray. I dont want a hairdresser to make me feel insecure about my appearance because she has different ideas about beauty and aging, I just want a haircut. I also like a sleek, elegant haircut. Again she was put off by this because she prefers layers and volume, as she put it. She kept telling me I was getting the wrong haircut. Meanwhile, as someone with thick pin straight hair, I have gotten many beautiful sleek looking bobs in my life. I would have been willing to leave a sizable tip for a good cut at this price but I felt like my hairdresser gave up on me and didnt care. In general, she seemed jaded and disgruntled with Supercuts. In the end, I might go back and ask for someone else.

I am a hairdresser so Im very picky about my hair. Ive been going to Supercuts for about a year now. I always see the same stylist so she knows me and exactly what I want. Everybody that works there is friendly and the best part is how affordable it is. Ive gone to more expensive salons and get a job thats not as good and theyre usually snooty. Supercuts has down to Earth employees that really do want to give you the best possible cut. Im going tomorrow morning for my monthly cut which I wouldnt be able to afford somewhere else and Im really looking forward to it. I love Supercuts!!!

It would be nice to post your hours of operations on the web. I understand hours could change. It is up to you to ensure that you stay up to date on the web information. I live in Branford and normally use JoBella in New Haven. I didnt want to drive to New Haven today. The lack of information or even a recorded msg. on the the phone lost you a new customer.

They give a good haircut especially for the price. The only issue I have is they stop taking customers thirty to forty minutes before they close. That is not right. If your hours of operations are only 8:00 pm, than you need to take customers until that hour or change it to 7:30 PM.
