We are extremely happy with the work done by NEPI. Vern and his crew are extremely good at what they do. Im in the plumbing and heating business and see a lot of spray foam jobs go wrong. I would highly recommend calling them and getting educated on the science of insulation. We met with Vern and had a long conversation about air infiltration and how it affects your house and the loss of heat. Vern was able to correct some misconceptions and easily explain to my wife and I the benefits of spray foaming our basement. This is a very knowledgeable company and if not your first stop should be your last stop. Vern gave us several options and we never felt forced to pick one option over the other. He also explained that we didnt need the higher priced closed cell in all areas and would only use it the necessary areas to keep the cost down. The crew at NEPI did an outstanding job and my basement and was cleaner than before they started. For this I cant say enough. The spray foam was only in the places it was suppose to be and not all over the surrounding floors and walls. We were even forced to leave our washer and dryer in the middle of the room knowing they were spraying the ceiling and there wasnt any spray foam on either of the appliances. Thank you NEPI, your 5 stars in our book. We look forward to a warm and cozy basement. Also to a less drafty house. Next we will be doing the attic and that should show some great benefits too.

Contacted Vernon and he gave me a phone quote for re insulating the underside of our home, he was very friendly at first. On the day of the estimate Vernon informs me that hes not interested in the job. I asked why. His reply "You wont be happy with the way we discussed it". So now he wants to use Closed Cell spray foam only. I explained that I was not interested and thanked him for coming down, Vernon then told me "You dont have to be a Jerk" I tried to get over what he had just said and honestly I couldnt believe my ears, it isnt enough that Im in the middle of a plumbing project now Ive got someone verbally bashing me. I tried to express my concerns over the disadvantages of using that material in our type of home, he listened to a certain extent, but kept trying to sell me on the spray foam, at one point calling it open cell when it was closed cell. This is not how you conduct yourself when you represent your own company, I shouldnt have to indulge in customer service etiquette, but a simple "Ok, I understand where you are at" would have sufficed. At this point I can not in good faith recommend this business on the merits of what was said. First impressions are very important when trying to get new business, unfortunately Vernon does not know how to be professional when it comes to customer service.

We were very pleased with NE Performance Insulation (NEPI), and the renovated attic exceeded our expectations. The job consisted of adding insulation in the attic, and creating a storage platform. Multiple options were presented to us with the initial quote, and a follow up visit was scheduled to go over the selected option in detail. NEPI also helped us to schedule an energy audit prior to the installation of the insulation, which provided us with a rebate of up to 50% off the insulation cost. The men who performed the work were professional, courteous, and competent. They also did an excellent job with the cleanup when the job was completed.
