I called at 12:30 to ask if it was busy. I was told its not busy if I dont have an appointment and to come down. I got there at 12:45. Just like the comment below me, no one greeted me or said a word to me. At 1:15 they skipped me and took the person who came in after me. At 1:30 one guy was free but started to eat lunch. At 1:45 I thought it was my turn but he motioned to someone else who had an appointment with him. I said I had called and the guy told me to come down, and he said "yeah but that was an hour ago things change - youre lucky to only wait 20 min on a Friday". I didnt wait 20 min, I was there for over an hour. The next guy that would be available would be another 20 min and he reeked of cigarettes and was hacking up a storm. So I left. Needless to say, Im not gonna try again. I WILL SAY, HOWEVER, that the haircuts the customers received looked great. If they actually cared and apologized I would have said no problem Ill try again another day. So this is purely because of customer service. Also, work ethic is pretty bad - constantly talking but pausing the cut to talk, warming up coffee in the middle of a cut....if they got their act together it would be a great place.

I go inside and guys dont welcome me with a hello or a smile, just stares. I soon get asked to sit in one of the barbers chairs, he starts talking to me about the ghettos of Hartford and people who have a vendetta against him in the area he lives, which is realistic but I could care less about negativity when going to get a haircut. The barber pushed my line back, and when he was done, i gave him a $20 bill expecting to get $7 back, but he gave me a confused face saying he doesnt have change. He asked the other barber and he had no change either. How ironic is it that in a business no one has change for a $20? It just reminded me of the hood where you cant trust anyone and somebodys always got there hand in your pockets. To add, the area isnt that great and the place could be cleaner. They charge $13, which is a positive, but dont go there and pull out a 20. I would never go back.

My experience with my barber at blaze made me feel very comfortable the price was very moderate and my haircut was banging my experience was very positive great barbers they work efficiently and they are very good at what they do i have a new barbershop thats banging holla go to blaze for a cut you wont regret it.................

Im a white male in my early 20s, and my hairline has started to really recede. To keep my hair looking neat, I get a close buzz cut. Unfortunately, the barbers near my house specialize in scissor cuts. I decided to try out Blaze Barber Shop, and I was not disappointed. I got a great cut and the price was very affordable.
