After moving to Hartford over three years ago, I had some trouble finding a good barber. (I dont have the easiest hair to manage - mines curly in a not-nice way, which might add some difficulty for the average barber.) I tried a few different local shops in the $12-15 range, and found that the quality of the haircut I received could vary significantly from visit to visit, even at the same shop. A friend then recommended I try The Final Cut. Ill be honest, my gut reaction was that the price was a little high for me, so I started out a bit skeptical. The first haircut at TFC was the best Id had in the last ten years, but given the $25-28 price tag I wanted to be cautious. Well, Ive now been going to The Final Cut once a month for two years, and Im sold. This is the one barbershop Ive been to in the last ten years that I vouch for. For me personally, its worth every penny not to stress over the outcome. Their haircuts look great on day one - no loose hairs or misshapen dos. Consistently high quality cuts, perfect for professionals. The only disappointment is that there arent more barbershops out there like The Final Cut.

What more could you want? A cool little location hidden away in the middle of everything there is to do in West Hartford Center...cushy leather armchairs...peanuts...cold drinks...hi-def sports...and of course, GREAT, high-quality haircuts from Joe and his crew of haircutters. Ive been going here for years, and its always a pleasure. Highly recommended.

What a great place to get a haircut! The owner, Joe, is an incredibly nice guy and a master of his craft. The environment is pretty impressive, too. The leather seats and beer fridge are enough to make you wish the wait for the big seat was just a little longer. If youre in the Hartford-West Hartford area, you should definitely give this place a try!

Ive been getting my hair cut by Joe for about 6 years now and dont think of go anyplace else. You walk in and are offered a drink, then get a nice shampoo in before Joe fixes you up. They also offer some extra services to spruce you up, but I havent had an occasion to use them yet (wedding, etc).

I am blown away by this place. I was taken here for my birthday and as I walk in, I am offered a hard beverage of my choice. Its a friendly environment with a comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.

This is a great barber shop. You sit in a leather arm chair, watching TV and having a brew while you wait. For my haircut I had Rebecca and she did an excellent job. Best haircut Ive had in a while.
