I am very disappointed with the quality of service of this company. If I could give them negative stars, I would. One star is much too deserving of this place. Never have I ever been treated so badly (both my items and as a customer). I have never been to this dry cleaner before, but thought Id give them a shot as the location was convenient. I only had one item to be dry cleaned, a king sized comforter, and thought what could it harm. I have had this comforter dry cleaned by different Dry Cleaner without issue. So, I figured there would be no harm. All dry cleaners were created equal, right? WRONG. First, they couldn’t get the timing of the delivery correct. I went to pick up my comforter at the time indicated on the ticket provided by Esquire Cleaners only to find out that the comforter wasnt ready. Strange. Why would a Cleaning Service provide a deadline in which they couldnt make? I was asked to return over two consecutive days, and with each visit the comforter wasn’t ready. When offered to pick up at the Newington location (where comforters are cleaned), the associate assured us it would be available and that they were cleaning it as we spoke. Fine. Finally, three days past their initial deadline, the comforter was available for pick up. However, upon receiving the item, we noticed it was completely damaged. Not stained or ripped. It was completely white washed. When I dropped it off, the comforter was green, cream, tan and brown. Returned from Esquire Cleaners, it was white, yellow and grey. If it weren’t for the checkered and striped pattern on it, I would have thought they switched our comforter with someone else’s. It was ruined. This comforter was part of a matching set of curtains, rugs, pillows, and other accessories for the room. All of which, would have to be replaced, because the comforter was ruined by Esquire Cleaners. Disappointed, we asked to speak to the manager. The employees insisted the owner wasnt there, but would call to rectify the situation. Okay… The next day, the owner called and told my mother that he checked with everyone on staff, and they had come to the conclusion that WE dropped it off that way. So, therefore it wasn’t their fault. I am in complete shock. The OWNER of the company, who DAMAGED OUR PROPERTY, BLAMED US because they had been incompetent at their job. No apology, no nothing. He blamed us for his company’s ineptitude. Bottom line: Do not under any circumstances go to this dry cleaner. Do not even trust them to iron press your shirts. They’ll likely burn a hole in it and tell you that you brought it in that way and it wasn’t their fault. And to think they do wedding gown cleanings? Do not risk having your special day ruined because this dry cleaner will likely turn your white dress yellow, pop the beading and blame you for it. I will never do business with them again and I will discourage everyone not to do so as well.

I would like to say that the counter help are excellent. Kind, knowledgeable, and polite. The work is impeccable. I have been using Esquire Cleaners for a long time and am always pleased. It is a pleasure going there, being greeted by my name and to have the confidence that everything will come back perfect. Thank you Esquire!

I spilled red wine all over my FAVORITE white blouse that was already a vintage top, so keep in mind the color was fading. Esquire went above and beyond my expectations. It came back looking better then when I bought it. Will always recommend them to everyone! Thanks you Esquire Cleaners!

Having been in the military and gotten work done on uniforms where the stitching and placement has to be impecable, esquire cleaners has exceeded military standards and my expectations. I wish I had more stars to give.
