I have been going to MCs barber shop for over the past 2 years (once a month) and I can tell without a doubt, he is the best barber I have used in my 31 years in CT. MC takes pride in his craft and in doing so has worked very hard to be the best in the state. Not once have I had a bad haircut from this establishment. Also, I really like that MC takes appointments, mostly appointment only since he usually book two or three days out when I call. MC also runs his barbershop in a very professional manner, especially in regards to hygienic safety, all cutting materials are disinfected and new straight edge razors for each customer. Along with the hair cut, I always have a fun time hanging out at the barbershop while I am getting my haircut. I highly recommend getting your hair cut at MCs Barbershop, while settle for an average hair cut in CT when you can get the best!

Came here for the first time two weeks ago and thought I found a new barber. After scheduling my second one oclock appt I was out of town dealing with an emergency and missed the appointment by an hour. I called MC barber shop at 2 that day sincerely apologizing and explaining the circumstance. I was advised that my next $25 haircut would now be $50, mind you I have not had any NO-SHOWS with them in the past. A bit excessive if you ask me, shame. And I hope people dont fall for these five star reviews, my first appointment I heard the three barbers discussing posting reviews for each other...misleading.

Stopped by here on a Sunday since most other places are closed. Cuts are $22 which is pretty expensive for a mens haircut and they only take cash. The main guy is apparently a hotshot barber (bunch of awards in the window) but you only get him if you call ahead and make an appointment. The young guy I got was very thorough and this ended up being one of the longest hair cuts Ive ever had. The TV was playing YouTube clips so dont expect to watch the game if its on. Would probably come here again but nothing special for the price.

I have been searching for a long time for a barber shop that cares about doing it right. It seemed like the great barbers retired. But today I stumbled on MC and his team. They listen and they care about the customer. Most importantly, they take pride in what they do. It does still exist!!! Thank you and I will see you next week.

MC is truly a master barber, but an even better guy. Very professional and the conversation is great. If you want your hair done right, you gotta come here.So glad I heard about him from a friend and it killed me to lose him as a barber when I moved away. Ill definitely be back when Im in the area.

Our second time at MC Barber was as great as the first. We chose to go without an appointment so expected a wait but it wasnt much of one. MC and Carlos are great guys. I get a buzzed boy cut, spiked on the top so if you are a woman and like that style you wont be disappointed with Carloss work!

We love this barber shop. MC is incredibly talented and so is Sam. Both my husband and son go here and always leave with a fresh, clean cut. They are personable and know what they are doing. Wont go anywhere else. If only I can get MC to cut womens hair ;)
