I brought my military dress uniform to get some patches sewn on (5) and they charged me over $40 to simply sew them on. On top of that they needed a week turn around to do this and still messed up the measurements after I gave a written explanation and measurements.When I went back for them to have them correct their mistake I was told the seamstress wouldnt be in until the 3rd, and that there were many ahead of me and they needed a week.$8/ea to sew on a patch is absurd, I will never use them again.

They do a good job on dry cleaning. They have a $10 minimum on cards-- typical of a business that wants to avoid paying the credit card processor fees. Needs to put some thought that we are a plastic culture- take the money or the customer will take their business elsewhere. You wouldnt take a two dollar chagr ona credit card from a customer who may average $500 in business to Hart Cleaners a year. Is it really worth it for the cc minimum, as I dont usually carry cash?

theyre not that expensive. issues about CC: if you bring in one shirt, thats $2.50 or something. it costs about 1.75 for the business to clean and press, so, if the CC company is deducting $0.50 for every CC purchase under $10, what the hell are the cleaners making? a few cents? thats why theres a minimum but quite frankly theyve been taking credit cards under the $10 min for years now,
