I have picked up to-go meals on many occasions from Appleton Catering. The food is always excellent and surprisingly low-priced. The lasagna is unbelievable. The cole slaw is perfect - like the old-fashioned, non-gimmicky cole slaw your grandmother used to make. Appleton Catering also catered my wedding; they came over and set up a couple of tents in our back yard; later, they brought the food, including the terrific wedding cake. The food was great - sliced roast beef au jus, Chicken Chesapeake, meatballs, and desserts. My friends ate it all - every bit. A few years ago, when Target opened their Christiana Mall store, Appletons did it up right. Owner/Operator Glenn Vernon commanded one of the stations they set up; he put on a show, worthy of the best TV chefs. Throwing vegetables in the air, spinning and twirling various foods and implements, he drew a crowd - we laughed and laughed. And I havent even begun to sing the praises of Appleton soups. Glenn makes all the soups - incredible bisques and cream soups, various chicken soups, and the list goes on and on - about 30 different soups. You can buy them at their store, frozen or fresh. Whatever you need, give Appletons a call. Glenns lovely daughter, Katie, or his beautiful and talented wife Cheryl, will take good care of you; and when your event is done, you will be a happy person indeed.

We had Appleton Catering make the food for my husbands 60th birthday party. The food was absolutely incredible!! They displayed the food beautifully on the trays. They delivered everything including steamers,linens, plates and silverware. Appletons eliminated all the stress of planning the party and our guests were really happy with the food! We will definitely be calling them again :)

Everything was delicious!! I had them deliver breakfast and lunch for my wedding at my home. The food was great and the delivery was right on time. Everyone loved it.

Everything in their market is excellent!! Fresh fresh fresh and a good value. Plenty of leftovers too. You will never be hungry again. Cupcakes are banging too!
