I am the new Curriculum Coordinator at The Learning Center at Calvary or TLC ( Tender Loving Care) as I like to refer to it. I came to TLC from a large corporation where children were nothing more than numbers and dollar signs. I am so happy to be part of a center where children are treated as our own and the teachers are part of the community. After 20 years in Early Childhood I assure you that every center has its ups and downs but TLC is going thru a major transformation right now and if you didnt like us before it is definitely worth coming back and giving us a second look to meet our new staff and hear about our new curriculum! We may not have all the bells and whistles but we have been making a lot of positive changes and we are one of the most affordable and safest child care centers in the area. I AM PROUD TO WORK FOR TLC and I LOVE OUR KIDS!

Jjvannote - 12/02/2008 I wouldnt recommend this daycare to one of my worst enemies! We had an incident involving an older child in the gym with our younger children and the staff refused to acknowledge the fact that it happened. They even went so far as to call us racist when we removed our children from their facility after a sexual assault! Actions are still pending at this time. Wanted to give them no stars in this rating but I had to give at least one or my voice would not be heard. Tammyabayomi - 04/26/2010 i agree with Jjvannote, this daycare has alot of workers that dont care about the children. Dont get me wrong because their are a few that do care. Brandywine Childcare & Prschl, Claymont DE is also operated by the same management.

We have a great daycare here at the learning center. I have been with the center for almost two years. The teachers are loving and show our childern how to love their firends and there is so much more they can offer your child. Please check them out.
