The facility sells a great bargain: fantastic academic plan, cleanliness , cameras for children safety, What parent could miss out on that? (mind you they are very expensive) Shortly enrolled my son and first week already noticed the rudeness of the staff . figuring it was just my imagination(red flag). I came times in the afternoon asking the teachers how my son did with little response " oh hes fine" . Obviously i can note that my son is fine because hes alive an breathing not exactly the response i was wanting( this was not too much of a concern to me but a red flag). Then week after week my son started coming home from school with bruising on his legs, hes a boy so i understand he falls but on his chest and his eye with no report on what happened, i would come the next day and ask and teachers would respond " i didnt hear him cry about anything he probably just fell" ...... arent you suppose to be watching these children The response was evident that there werent watching.(Huge concern) I brought my concerns to the manager and said that we need to have a meeting she said okay when and never expressed why we were having a meeting or cared why. Meeting never happened on lack of time. He shortly went to a different class because of his age, but my son wasnt completely potty trained to be in the next class and Ive had expressed my concern; But he was still moved anyway. He started having problems with using the bathroom the teacher had accused my family of not potty training my son at home, i had firmly reassured them that this was not the problem and that the movement too soon to a different class was the problem( note this was a teacher not the manager)the manager with no apologize for her staff lashing out the way they were. Next day i come to pick up my son with the teacher basically verbally abusing one of the children. Still expressing my concerns to the manager her response was were moving him to the class before and their shouldnt be a problem now, mind you i was the one who stressed this move not her. She(manager) brushes the concerns of parents off and makes it seems like shes doing something but isnt probably why their turn over rate is through the roof. This daycare would be amazing if staff was correctly oriented in professionalism in dealing with parents, having correct understanding of what watching children means, not having such a terrible turn over rate so that our children arent being verbally abused by people theyve hired and having management properly take control of the situation then reassuring parents and leave concerns hanging, if she just wants a paycheck she should manage McDonalds. This facility has an amazing curriculum but the staff and management should be completely fired by the company and remade with completely new staff. Thats just how ridiculous it is.

We recently moved our child to Ladybird daycare. We were initially very impressed right off the bat. The school is very clean with large classrooms and play areas has a lot to offer. We love Mrs. Ronda, we couldnt have asked for a better teacher. Shes very patient with the kids, shes invested in their development and takes the time needed to do her job well. Shes really the only reason weve kept our child there. After a few weeks there I started wondering how some of the other families were affording Ladybird, as its most expensive place around with a 2 yr old costing 200+ per week. We then came to find out they offer vouchers to low income allowing them to pay $90 a week. I wouldnt mind as much if I werent paying the difference to subsidize the families. When it came time for the beginning of the school year we were hit with a weekly price increase, an $85 curriculum fee and a supply list. Really as if were not paying enough? As it turns out half the families in my childs class NEVER BROUGHT THEYRE SUPPLIES IN, even after being repeatedly asked. Im starting to see why were paying a "curriculum" cost. These other reviews must have been requested by staff. I find theyre communication seriously lacking. If theyre having a Mothers Day or Grandparents day function theyll post it a day or two before, we havent been able to attend things because we get such late notice. My child came home with a very visible bite mark on her arm - we got no incident report and then I had to request one even after I talked to staff. I agree with some of the more honest reviews that state the rooms are usually overloaded and management seems focused on numbers. Another parent said theyre child wasnt moved up because they were short staffed and were experiencing the same thing. Id complain more but we love our teacher and once our child is moved were not sure well stay. They havent had a teacher for 3 yr olds in months. They seem to have a hard time keeping staff and then overload the staff they have. Im fairly certain the amount of children in a classroom exceeds DCF numbers frequently. The last thing I would say is the staff is SERIOUSLY under paid, $9/hr. Are you kidding me? Profits seem to be the first priority, looks must be the second, and staff must be dead last.

We recently moved to Debary, and decided to move our daughter to Ladybird since it was so close to our house. Unfortunately, it was not a good fit for us. Security and safety is a really big concern for us, and we did not feel safe at Ladybird. On multiple occasions, when picking up my daughter, the teachers kept mistaking me for other childrens parents, to the point, that they even tried to hand me the wrong child once. Also, when picking my daughter up in the afternoons, she was always with a different teacher. I understand that multiple people care for your children, but every week, it would be someone completely different taking care of her in the afternoon. I didnt feel that my daughter ever felt a relationship with anyone there, since she was never with the same people (in the afternoons at least). Also, when there would be a different teacher (someone I hadnt met), I would walk in, grab my daughter, and although the teacher didnt know me, I was never asked for my name or identification to confirm that I was the parent, or that I was on the pickup list. Yes, there is a code you have to enter to get into the section of the classrooms, but everyone with children at the school, has the exact same code. What is to say that someone else, with ill intentions cant walk into a classroom and take your child? It just seemed that the school has a lot of turn around, and not everyone is on the same page. Definitely, do not expect to build a relationship with anyone at the school, since most likely, they wont even know your name or your children. I will say that the morning teacher that my daughter was with was very nice, and I have no complaints about her. Its just the administration of that daycare in general thats a problem. Its very poor. I brought my concerns to the director, who did respond via email, but both my husband and I felt as if we were brushed off. When we decided to withdraw her because of our concerns, (immediately after our communication with the director), she didnt even reach out to us. I would definitely not recommend this daycare.
