Thank you pricila you are an incredible mother and we absolutely love you son. As with all the children there like our own. To respond to the other 2 negative comments the one where the staff was feeding the child is because she didnt know how to feed her self yet as she had just tuned 1 and the classroom was NOT out of ratio the other teacher had to use then bathroom and went right back into the room. As for the id we always id the adult if we do not know them the mother was picking up the child and another staff member knew who she was and who her child was. The second comment the mother owed us a substantially large amount of money intuition and when the facility licensing hours end at 630 and children are in the building we call the parent however the mother called 30 min before closing stating she did not know when she would get there and she was informed that heaven for bid an accident occur which happens often when children are being children our insurance does not cover after hours injuries if that ever were to happen. Besides all of that you can read the newer reviews since new administration has taken over and we pride ourselves on academics and family satisfaction. We love our children like our own. Our parents are always! Welcome and we have quiet a few activities where parents volunteer and participate. This is an incredible school with her loving and warm caring staff.

I wish I would have read the reviews before enrolling my children They seem pretty on mark to me.. The school DOES have a good lesson plan (as mentioned below) and almost all of the teachers are loving and fair to all of the children. (as mentioned below) All but the VPK teacher (as mentioned below) I actually had another parent tell me that "If we could tough it through her & graduate to another class - it would be worth it. Weve had so many backsteps in her developements I hardly think its worth it. It took us months to undo the argession & fits she developed. The teacher didnt make any of the other parents feel comfortable when we were there either. Parents talk you see... We shared stories. Nothing "wrong" or illegal... Just not quite right. My older child was heartbroken when we left, the other teachers being so great. But how can i explain taking just one child away? If your child is older than 3, this school is wonderful!

The person who wrote the comment at the bottom about no academics must not be talking about this Sunshine Preschool. This school got 100% academic readiness. Only 2 schools in Volusia county did this. They are the best around. Could not have asked for a better start for my 2 children. All the teachers are loving and caring about the children and family. So if you are looking for a great foundation for your child I highly recommend this school. Some people are just not happy anywhere they go. I have heard parents at the doors of my childs elementary school being so nasty to teachers, demanding and in denial. We as parents need to listen and support teachers in this or any school.

My niece was here for 3 days and I went in to see how she was doing and no one ask for my ID let me walk in the classroom like if they knew me. The teacher was laying down on the floor playing on her phone with her daughter. I wont recommend this daycare to no one!!! My sister walked in to collect my niece stuff and no one was at the office the door was open and when she walked in the classroom the teacher once again is feeding her daughter while the other kids are sitting at the table eating by them self with no supervision. She had 8 kids in the 1 year old classroom by her self DCF ratios are 6 children to one teacher she was over ratio by 2 kids and that is a safety issue!!

If they can get no stars they would they do not care for children safety at all and had a problem with me being late once the lady who runs it threaten me saying anything after 630 happens they are not covered and the girl was more worry bout doing something after 630 then making sure the kids gotten picked up and was safe this was the worst daycare my children have ever gone to dont take your children there and btw they dont even watch how many times your child goes to the bathroom my daughter had a wet pull up on and they only cared when I came to pick her up its pretty sad to me specially who they hired as staff I only like the 1 lady and she had red hair everyone els sad

The reason i give a 5 start is because the teachers i love the new administrate miss Catherine she is very nice and understanding . my son love his teaches if it was not because of them i would had move my son but the teachers are nice and loving to my son he been there for almost a year and they spoil him from the morning teacher to the afternoon they never give me a hard time when i pick my soon late they understand is traffic and i dont have to rush to get him they think about my safe too i love all of them. i will recommend everyone to bring there kids to this daycare if you want your child to feel special

Worst day care ever !! I walked in to a snotty nosed son on two occasions . They dont watch the 1yr olds thoroughly they answer the door leave them in the room by themselves to do so. They dont make incident reports unless you notice a bruise and I am sick of the directors attitude. She sits on my FB and comments on statues that arent even directed to the daycare.

I agree with Parent in some degree. They do not overcharge they charge correctly as it is a brilliant daycare. They do however have a very unpleasant VPK Teacher. Very unprofessional behaviour and its a shame really, as the other teachers are so lovely.

This daycare is the worst. They overcharge,teach no academics, they have the meanest vpk teacher I have ever met. She is very nasty to the children when she feels nobody is looking. I would not recommend anyone there.

I am blessed to have found this establishment from my daughter to my sons pre k I am blessed to have their help and understanding. Thank you again to Miss Catherine and Tatiana which both have helped my kids!!
