My name is Falon, and Ive recently experienced a lot of hardships, almost losing my husband, whom had to have open heart surgery, very unexpected. To make a long story short: we made a pretty big move over the summer, to give our young daughter a better life, and i personally stayed home for the Summer to stay with my daughter, as she was out of school for summer break-- then about a month after summer started, when life was suppose to change for the better, thats when my husband became very sick, and then ended up having his aortic heart valve replaced, which kept him in the hospital for 9 weeks straight. This hurt our family big time financially, as he could not obviously work, and as previously mentioned, I was not employed and did not plan to start working again until January of 2017. Everything had changed quick, and I needed to get to work, fast, or wed lose everything we had worked so hard for. I didnt have the time, nor was I was mentally prepared to search for new work, and so I walked into Spherion one day, and Kelly initially took me in, she listened to me cry as I was very emotional over my husbands state, and she literally made me feel safe, and she did not judge me, she only stated that I needed to update my resume, and shed be able to find me work. I told her that I was ready to stock shelves at this point, just to have a paycheck coming in immediately.....I was desperate, and I truly needed Spherions help, and they picked up on that and took it very deliberate and serious. I did a few of their requirements, and i came in to finish paperwork so that I could start a temp job, when I met Bradi-- another angel. These two ladies made me feel so human again, which was a feeling I longed for, and hadnt felt for so long.....I just felt like my wheels were spinning to be honest, and I didnt know which way was right anymore, as my husband was gone for so long, I was drowning in every possible way. While I was treated so warm, Kelly and Bradi both also held a very high level of professionalism with not just me, but every potential employee that walked in the door while i was there filling the rest of my paperwork out, to start an assignment. To make a very long story somewhat short: I did one short assignment, and while I was actually working at this temp job, I received a very exciting call and email to follow with details, letting me know that I had an interview scheduled for the Monday after Thanksgiving, which was this past Monday. This wasnt for a stocking job, nor was it for any job that didnt require much skill-- it was for a job that has very large shoes to fill, and its exactly what I am experienced in, and its borderline exactly what I was looking for, and I couldnt have done a better job choosing a place of employment for permanent work, if I had chose myself. I interviewed as planned, and started the very next day, not having to worry about 10 other applicants competing against me. I have worked all week, and I am so happy. Spherion has been my life saver, and I mean that with everything Ive got. I know this is typically a "short review" place to comment, but I am so pleased with this company, I want the world to know that there are still professional people out there, that DO care.....all you have to do is be honest, and pull your weight, and they will do eveything in their power to get you the job you are experienced in, and a paycheck lined up!

Miserable place. They found my boyfriend a job pretty quick the first time around, unfortunately after 6 weeks that job no longer needed him and spherion was supposed to help him find another one. He called every single day, the lady said since the job had no complaints and he was so persistent she would try to get him in somewhere ASAP. After about 3 weeks the lady he was assigned to was never there and was always going to "be there tomorrow" I told him to ask that he be assigned to someone else. They finally told him to stop calling, when something is available theyll call. This is his way of living and its your job to help him find a job. They acted as if he was a bother. Now when he calls they just never seem to answer. So unprofessional and very disappointing.

Extremely rude women were making fun of a lady who came in inquiring about a job. They continued to talk negatively and demeaningly about this woman in front of others in the waiting room. Another woman walked in and was treated absolutely HORRIBLY!!! The lady with permed shoulder length hair from Toledo Ohio(she repeatedly announced this while walking around doing nothing), snapped her fingers and said "hey you forgot your two forms of ID"..in a rude, unproffesional manner. Then announced how she almost "lost another" drivers license... . Really???? This is how you conduct business? This was by far the most UNPROFESSIONAL office I have ever set foot in. The most unacceptable, unethical treatment that I have ever witnessed. STAY AWAY!!!!

First thing when you arrive at the office you are greeted very professionally and immediately catered to according to your needs. I was very impressed. On a personal note; I started with Spherion in January 2015, after some temporary placements they found me a home that I may never leave. I dont think I could have ever found this position, with serious room for advancement, without their help. Honestly, when its time to clock out and go home, I dont want to. Its not a mundane job. Its full of new things to do all the time. So, thank you girls for your hard work helping me find a home here in SW Florida that fits me perfectly. I would recommend giving them a try if your on the hunt for a good position in SW Florida.

I have to say this is the best staffing agency Ive been Lucky enough to have the pleasure of working with. Not only were they diligent in finding an opportunity that was a perfect fit, they were more than helpful when it came to becoming a full time employee with that client. The position they found me is the best fit Ive had in the 12 years Ive been in the job market, granted it took those 12 years to gain the knowledge that makes this position so perfect, but its perfect none the less. Spherion went above and beyond what Ive come to expect from recruiters Ive previously worked with.....oh and icing on the cake group health care rates! If youre going to work with a placement agency this is the one to work with!
