Terrible experience! I ended up paying so much money for ok haircut made by an angry stylist. I made my appointment with the owner of the saloon, however he just used the time while I was waiting for the service to push me some expensive Kerastese products and when I did not want to buy them he moved me to one of the stylists - angry hairdresser who did not say a word to me during the entire visit and was very rough to my hair. I ended up paying the same price as if my hair was done by a professional even though it was dome just by a stylist. During the entire visit I was feeling very uncomfortable because all staff was communicating very loud in hybru and they seemed to be interested only in clients from the jewish community who were welcomed and treated much more friendlier. At the end of my visit the owner was trying to impress me saying some fake compliments on my haircaut. The front desk agent is very unexperienced and indiscret asking me loudly if I want to add smt on the top of my receipt after charging me such a astronomic sum for their poor service. Very bad service, unfriendly atmosphere and owner pushing you to buy all their expensive products and services. I am very disappointed and I will never go there again.

Went in about 1 year ago and wanted highlights, wash, blow dry. Came in and sat down. They wanted to chitchat and asked about my boot. I explained I had just gotten into a car accident and was low on funds, but wanted some highlights. Was never told pricing. I was in the salon for 9 hours, not even an exaggeration. Between switching stylists, causing another stylist to cry and quit the same day, and having a hairstylist in training (student) do ALL of the work, and coming in and out of the salon while his friends kept visiting during work hours (unprofessional), he managed to request about $470 at the end of it. I cried. I had JUST explained that I was low on funds and that I couldnt pay more than $200 which is what other salons charge for the same service. He dropped the price to $430 as if that was a discount. I gave the student her tip and the owner proceeded to stare at me as if I had forgotten to tip him. I refused to tip him after swindling me out of half of what was in my bank account. Never again. Cried in the car on the way back home. Thief!

I went there just for a wash and blow out. They did good in the end but what shouldve taken 30-40 mins at the MOST was 2 hrs and 20 mins. The WHOLE time you will get sold I why you should buy their products from the beginning. I have my own hair extensions that are less than 2 months old. The man doing my hair tried selling me his. Then when I said maybe next time, he told me I needed a $60 conditioning treatment. With tape in extensions, you arent supposed to condition your hair at the top or the tape will come loose. Then after my hair was washed he put his jacket on and went outside and was talking to someone for a half hour while Im sitting there with wet hair. When he finally came back in, he kept on with trying to sell me products, I had a few of them and told him which should be the end of that. Nope, he said I should buy more because his prices are good. Why would I stock up on something I can go buy at any time and for a cheaper price elsewhere? I liked my blow out but the pushy sales are going to keep me away.

This was the worst salon experience of my life. I went it just to get a hair treatment and ended up being talked into a color. The stylist obviously had no idea what he was doing because he died my roots a flaming red color while the rest of my hair is a very trashy dark red. It is very uneven and looks terrible. I also let him know I did NOT want a haircut. He gave me one anyway even though I made it very clear I didnt want one. When I went to pay not only did he try to charge me $45 for a haircut I was angry he had even given me but he also charged me more to dye it than he said he would. I wish I had never went to this salon and I would most certainly recommend that you take my advice and not go here. I was so displeased with the job they did that I would rather pay someone else to fix it than go back there again. There was another woman in the salon when I was there too and and she left really unhappy because they did not do for her what she asked at all either. Save your money and time and find another place!

My friend recommended Allure Salon because she was amazed at the quality of work Ariel and his team of specialist provided. She had gone there after ruining her hair color and they transformed it into a beautiful auburn with golden highlights. So after her successful experience I decided to give them a try at my tress. But I needed help with broken and damaged hair brought on from a thyroid problem. Ariel encouraged me to try their gentle system of taped extensions while I grew out a heathy head of hair. The gentle color system was used to match my hair to the extensions without damaging my hair. Any more than it was. So far it has been 5 months of touch ups and new set of extension. My hair is growing out stronger and I am grateful for the nurturing Allure Salon has given it. Quality like this one may not expect outside of NY City but it exists right off Stitling Road.

I am thankful to God to have found this salon! The service was very professional and most importantly, the work done at this salon by the Head Stylist Ariel was absolutely amazing... This is the first time I was actually satisfied after leaving a hair salon. I entered the salon with extreme hair difficulty and had 3 different colors from trying to dye my hair myself. Ariel conducted his professional consultation and after careful review of my hair, he recommended using his "ammonia free" products. Ariel then went to work on my hair as a surgeon on a patient and after his work was completed, the top portion of my hair was in complete color alignment with the bottom portion of my pre-existing highlights! My husband was so happy by Ariels work because he knows I always leave hair salons with negative comments. I recommend Stylist Ariel to any person as he is an expert

I went to Allure Hair Salon and could not believe how wonderful the experience was! The staff was absolutely awesome, friendly and professional. They made me feel welcomed and really listened to what I needed. I was greeted with a smile, coffee, tea and lots of care and concern. The owner Ariel was phenomenal, the extensions he personally added to my hair was excellent! He reviewed all the options with me and explained everything in detail, this was truly a life changing experience for me. I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for quality work and a caring staff. (In fact, I do recommend them to everyone who has complimented since my visit, and that is a lot of people!) I couldnt be happier with the results! Do yourself a favor and let them change your life too! Jill Sert
