First off, Id like to say that I did not get my hair cut here. I will explain why throughout this short review: Hair Cuttery is a very nicely laid out place, and seems to make their regular clientèle happy with their services. However, they charge $50 for a simple haircut. If I were looking for something terribly fancy/intricate, sure, Id have no problem paying this amount. However, simply to get a trim? Thats quite a bit more than Im looking to spend. Today I went into this salon to do a bit of a price check, as Id read very good reviews on Google and YellowPages, etc. but upon coming inside, I waited patiently for one of the stylists to be available for me to sign in. In this time, a man came in with his son, both of whom were obviously regular customers. They immediately cut in front of me in line, were signed right in, and I was continually ignored throughout this process. No greeting, not even any eye contact was made between myself and these stylists, yet this man and his son were accepted in with open arms, immediately taken back for service. If youre looking for a hair cut that is done by a welcoming salon for a good value, I regrettably cannot recommend this salon.

I have been to this salon twice now thinking the first time was just a bad experience I gave it a second chance. Both times I have taken pictures with me of what I wanted and both times I have walked out completely unhappy with a color/cut that in no way resembled the pictures that I presented the stylist with. I have spent quite a bit of money here just to have it redone. If the stylist cannot do what is asked then they need to tell the client. I was not requesting anything outrageous so I am not sure what the problem was. I am not one to make a scene at the time I was there but I left completely frustrated and unhappy. Will not be going back!!

great stylists! they listen to what you want and make suggestions if the haircut or style will work with your hair type and color. the best thing is the personality of the people working. I havent had any bad experiences from anyone at hair cutlery. I only go here now after having a bad experience at fantastic Sams.
