Lynda has been cutting my hair since she barbered at the Beaches. Being a beaches resident, it takes a huge reason for me to "cross the ditch". Well.......... when Lynda started her own barbershop on Grove Park Road, that was a REASON for me to drive to town. I plan my "city trips" around my hair cut schedule. Lynda and Nikki not only produce an excellent product, their caring quality of service is "priceless" and well worth the experience no matter how far you have to drive. I was denied a haircut because I was a female even though I wanted a male style haircut. Ive always had a male style haircut. Ive never felt so discriminated against. Nowhere on their business card or on the outside of the store say anything about "males only". If I had read that from the beginning I would have never entered. The website says "specializes in mens and boys STYLES" not "men and boys only barbershop"

The Barbershop at Grove Park is the best barbershop in Jacksonville. A friendly staff of experienced barbers that specialize in mens and boys cuts. One of the few places where you can still get a straight razor neck shave also. Nikki, Rhonda, Shelby, and Harry get the job done right every time. If you are on the Southside and need to get cleaned up, definitely stop in and see them.

I walked in and Harry met me and asked me what I needed and I told him to look 10 years younger. So $16.00 later I walked out looking 10 years younger. I highly recommend you give them a chance to make you look 10 years younger too.

The ladies are great and know what theyre doing. They can give you any kind of cut you want and all at a reasonable price. Everyone I know in Grove Park goes here. Very friendly atmosphere as well. You cant go wrong.

I have been going to Grove Park Barber Shop for approximately four to five years. Always get a great cut at a reasonable price. Comfortable atmosphere, plenty of space and good conversation. Highly recommended.

I had difficulty finding a decent barber when I moved to Jax from the NYC area. I found it here. Price is on point. The hours are funnky, but its worth it. Not your sub par Jax corporate hair mill.

They dont cut black people hair, unless you just want it shaved off. Other than that, really nice ladies... Kind enough to give me directions somewhere else.
