My first time was a little nervous as expected. I absolutely hate looking for a new place/person to get my hair cut because it always takes a few times to get it close to what you wanted. I found Salon LaBrea online and decided to try them after reading the reviews from numerous people saying how nice, friendly, and best of all how Great they are at cutting and styling hair. OCEANA was my stylist. I must say that she is AMAZING and that she was everything I read. What I like most was that she took her time to talk with me to understand what I wanted. I even brought a few pictures on my phone to show her how I style it to make things easier. I know I probably sound like Im just really picky person. I kind of am because I have to be. I do a lot of Modeling and if my hair looks like it went to a butcher it can really effect how much I work. I just dont have the time to let it grow back out to try again. Im so happy that I found Oceana and the staff at Salon Labrea, they really are a nice group of people that are always smiling , happy and really great at cutting and styling hair.After getting my hair cut a few times; and having the same satisfaction, my girlfriend decided to try them. All I can say is that OCEANA is even now my girlfriends go to person.

I had severely damaged hair from sun, saltwater, boating and prior hair coloring. I nervously called to schedule my first visit. I was very pleased when a pleasant and professional sounding lady greeted me on the phone, listened to my situation, and scheduled my first consultation and appointment assigning me to Oceana. Oceana was fantastic! She analyzed the hair, asked questions to gain further insight into lifestyle abuse of the hair, and in a very caring manner, recommended a treatment which all sounded reasonable and so she went to work. I thought it would take many sessions to get this head of hair looking human once again, but Oceana worked a miracle! I had walked in looking like something the cat dragged in and I walked out looking like a movie star after my first visit! I am so happy and grateful to have finally found a great salon and a truly gifted hair expert such as Oceana. Everyone there is so friendly and the atmosphere is very soothing and welcoming. I went in for a balyage which I couldnt get because I had red hair which I understood. But somehow came out paying twice the amount of a balyage (200$) for a single processed colored hair which should have only equaled to 68$ according to their site. Dont know if she was charging me per hour of being in her salon. If this was the case then Erin was a sweet girl but I would have preferred her to be upfront from the beginning with my options instead of wasting my time and money talking. At the end I did not even receive a receipt to show what exactly I paid for and I walked out paying 200$ for a slight trim and a single hair color treatment on shoulder length hair. i feel ripped off. I ended up paying twice the amount of money for a service that should have only costed 60$.

My husband found this salon for me by reading its great reviews online so I made an appointment with Christina and ventured out to a new stylist. I was immediately impressed by the cuteness of the salon and the extremely friendly staff! Christina is an amazing color professional and new exactly which direction to take me in, which was a brighter more natural look, and I absolutely love it! She also put a conditioner on my hair that repaired some damage and made my hair look and feel much softer. I love the new color and the products they used! They also have this amazing spray in conditioner type product that gives your hair a little extra body/lift and it is fantastic (even though it was $32 it is well worth it especially with my fine hair! 5 stars!!! Love it!!

So thankful I found this little place! Erin is a great stylist who was intent on giving me the exact look I wanted! My cut and highlights look incredible. I am always super nervous starting at a new salon and have been in dire need of one since moving here. The ladies made me feel immediately at home. The salon itself is adorable and clean. All of the staff is very knowledgable and organized. Although they would prefer cash tips, they allow you to tip on a card- which is a HUGE deal for me! I have had salons make me go across the street to an ATM to tip the stylist. Overall, I love this salon and I honestly cannot wait to go back.

Veronica is absolutely amazing. This was my first time here. I found the salon on a simple google search, and really needed to get my hair done on a Saturday, because of my work schedule etc. She fit me in, and was so patient and kind. She truly wanted to know what I wanted for my hair, and she gave me different options. She is wonderful. I have blonde hair, and I hated the brassy that it was. She completely took out the brassy color out of my hair. And she is just such a pleasant person to talk to. Even though she squeezed me into her busy schedule, she took her time with me, and never acted rushed. I am definitely going back!

I cant say enough about Veronica and the staff at Salon LaBrea. I was a natural brunette that had gone blonde a few months prior to moving to Florida and was so nervous to find a new hair colorist. I am so thankful I found Veronica!! I went to her for my first hair appointment ever in Florida and will continue to forever. I recently went back to brunette and Veronica did an excellent job matching my natural color. She cuts my hair to the T! I have long hair and layers and she never chops it off, she listens to my vision and always nails it every time!

I have moved to the area and was in desperate need of a haircut. I had tried other salons and were not happy and so when I read the reviews on Salon LaBrea, I knew I needed to try there. I selected Cari and booked my appointment online which was great. She was WONDERFUL. She first took the time to talk with me and understand what I was looking for in my cut. She gave me exactly what I wanted. EXACTLY. Her skills at cutting hair were obvious. I am so happy about my experience and look forward to many more haircuts from her.

Love the place. Starting with Erin at the front desk. Everyone is always welcoming and sincerely interested in making your experience a pleasant one. Oceana, my stylist does my hair flawlessly each time I go. We always first discuss the best way to cut my hair and then she does it flawlessly. Also, this is a small intimate business where you never feel like youre just being processed like many other corporate owned salons. I highly recommend it. Great for men, I assume great for women too.
