I dont see why people come here! my wonderful dominican stylist was on vacation :( and I needed an alternate place to go, after calling them I decided to go there....BIG MISTAKE! I didnt have one person working on my head but two! and to me, thats soo unprofessional. the best part about the dominican salon is the rollerset and the 2nd girl happened to do WRONG AND LOOSE... while my initial person i set the apptmnt up with went to another customer! They asked me about the lady I go to and I told them... nothing but hate and criticism, "oh thats wrong bad products you should use these instead".... be proud of one another that you have the opportunity to even have clients who come to this so called salon NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE the lady was rough on my head from the beginning and there were three girls who I guess was family.. and all they were doing was getting in the customers way doing their OWN hair ugh I cant wait to go back to my stylist oh which by the way her name is Esperanza and she is at DEYA DOMINICAN SALON she cares about the health of your hair, professional, fast and doesnt put other salons down, go to her!

I came here in Jan- 2015 to get a blow out. The stylist insisted that i needed a trim or i would go bald.... So i went for it. My Style was beautiful, bounce and all. But a week later when i washed my hair i noticed not only did she butcher my hair but it was totally uneven cuts and patches all over. My hair was only shoulder length The worst ever. Ive been terrified to walk into a salon ever since. $70.00 later looking like who did that and Why???

Do not worry about these reviews, because Domingas Dominican Hair Salon is closed. Since November 2014, the salon has been under a new name and management. The new name is THE DOMINICANS BEAUTY SALON HAIR & NAILS. The new manager is Carmen Rosa. You can find us directly under our name on google and facebook. **GO TO THIS SALON AT YOUR OWN RISK!! UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNCARING** My experience at this salon was terrible. This was one of the most unorganized unprofessional salons I have ever been to.This Salon has unlicensed hair stylist performing Keratin treatments,Perms,and color..This is EXTEMELY frustrating because I had to take a day off work to come in only for it to be wasted. I wouldnt recommend this salon to anyone
