This firm, with all of their resources, gave a totally green (new) employee like me the opportunity to work at a local retail store. Initially, I began as a temporary worker, "temps," as they are often referred to as, and worked in much the same manner as a standard associate. Of course, my responsibilities and expectations were not quite as high since this was essentially an orientation for me and an evaluation to be conducted by the store in which I was working. Instead of clocking in, we were to sign-in on a sheet in an effort to record our hours and be paid by Express. Express provides a great base pay, surpassing the minimum wage by quite a bit. Every time there was work available, Express was quick to respond by informing all temporary workers of the opening. In essence, Express acted as the conduit of communication between the employee and the employer. In time, I was invited to join the associate team as a permanent employee. I have Express to thank for that. Their associates are caring and considerate of the new employees; they try to assist us as best they can. I was even given a free shirt by them for dress code purposes. I would most certainly recommend this firm to a friend.

Ive used express in other states with great results but this office was so awful its hard to realize its the same company. The office staff have no eagerness to help and would often just ignore my questions. If they werent ignoring me they were downright rude one more than one occasion. I was so shocked at how they treated me I attempted to contact the owner but I never received a reply. On top of that the job listings online never seemed to be updated (would pull results for other markets such as Tampa or Orlando but not Lakeland even in a broad search). Overall an extremely bad experience. I would never reccomend anyone use this branch.

Express is not only a great place to find a employment, but also a great place to find associates. As a business owner, I am overall impressed with the structure and great associates they have provided to my company. I have had several associates that have worked for me that have transferred to a direct hire employment. Express and the staff are always helpful, friendly and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend them for your staffing needs!!
