Luke is a genius—best in the business—and 5 Star Cuts Barbershop is truly a hidden gem. I moved back to Miami from Chicago a few months ago, and was recommended to Luke by a close friend. I figured, if my friend was willing to travel from 30 minutes away to get his cut with Luke, he must be doing something right. Upon getting my hair cut with Luke, I get it. The man is a master at his craft, and a perfectionist who takes the time to ensure that every cut is consistently crisp. And at the same time, I have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to get in the barbers chair. If you are tired of getting the proverbial "roman spear to your caesar," call Luke.

Called in advance to make an appointment, waited 30 minutes without being greeted upon walking in or even acknowledged. Just another typical Miami barbershop with barbers that are more concerned with how the Heat game was last night than actually providing customer service. Would not recommend.

Open late (for a barber shop). Sometimes the wait takes a while.. but if youre inside before hours are over, theyll stay open until youve gotten your cut. The two barbers Ive had cut mine, Noel & Greg, both do an excellent job.
