Dont waste your money here!! Terrible service, exorbitant prices and upcharges, and non existent customer service! Went for the Tuesday blow dry special and told the stylist I only had 1 hour (I was on my lunch break). She started off by saying how terrible my hair was, how much I needed to dye my natural color or at least do a full head of highlights to change it. I declined, (I actually have really great hair as I was just pregnant) and she started to get the whole process going. She took me over to a filthy sink with someone elses hair in it and explained what the products do that she was putting in (this is good for shine, this is a moisturizer etc). After 30 min of being in the sink I again explained that I need to go! She brushed my hair wet and told me how serious my hair loss was (Im mid twenties). I explained again, I just had a baby and this is a natural part of it. We finally got over to the chair and she had another girl help her blow dry. She didnt know what she was doing and my hair was getting frizzy and super damaged as you could smell the burning hair. Finally after my stylist took over again she finished up and I went to go pay...HERES WHERE THEY BECOME SCAM ARTISTS; my blow dry went from $25 to $75. My jaw dropped and asked why it was so much. The stylist told me that the stuff she used on my hair was all extra. I had NO idea that this was the case and said that it was not fair for them to do that. Being 25 min late for work, I swiped and dashed, assuming refund can be taken care of later. She trying giving me a hug asking if I was mad at her and attempted to give me a rose saying, "well at least your hair looks good!" The next day, I had bruising and swelling on the back of my neck and head from being in the sink for so long. I found out later that so many friends have had terrible issues as well. From hack highlights to $300 regular haircuts, Trini Salon is a scam and not worth consideration. Oh btw, went for a wax once, and came out bruised... Just a terrible place!

I went to Trini in Private Salon located in Brickell and oh my god I had the most amazing time of my life. Coming into the salon, everyone at the front desk stood up and greeted me with smiles. They took my name and told me to sit down at the retail area for a moment. I sat down and an employee came immediately and asked me if I would like something to drink. They gave me a delicious glass of wine and a piece of chocolate. What a great service!!! I went for an eyelash extension with Michelle and she did such a great job!! She asked me what I wanted and she gave me exactly what I asked for!! I am so happy and I look so beautiful!! At the front desk with this sweet woman named Suzy and she complimented my eyelashes and made me feel special. I even took another appointment to do my hair for next week! I cant wait because I know that they will do a great job! After paying, they gave me a rose and Gustavo, the manager of the salon, opened the door for me like a real gentlemen. Ive never been happier with any other service; it was truly the best! I highly recommend going to Trini because you wont regret it! They make you look beautiful and feel special. Trini in private is the only salon I will go to from now on!! After my fabulous eyelash extension experience at Trini Brickell with Michelle, today I came back for my highlights and a cut with Christian. It was so great!! It was my first time doing highlights.. ever! I was really scared at first and I wasnt sure what I wanted but Christian came to the rescue!! He took his time to explain everything and he helped me decide on what colors I should use. Trusting him, I let him do his thing and OMG ive never looked better!! He then cut my hair and blow-dried it and I absolutely love it. I know that Trini Brickell hair salon is the hair salon and spa for me!! it will be for you too if you give it a try! :)

Nearly all of my favorite hairdressers have left Trini, with the exception of Selena, who is amazing. After living in the building attached to Trini for nearly 7 years, Ive noticed that Trini seems to have a revolving door of staff because of their unsustainable & rather backwards business model. What happens is: the stylists continue to climb the "internal, Trini-set ranks" by accumulating more and more cuts under their belts and as they do so, their rates go up exponentially until they reach the highest level of "master stylist" at which point they charge the highest rates possible. So instead of the business (Trini) itself rewarding the stylist, they pass the buck to the consumer. Meaning: YOU (the customer) get penalized for your stylist getting better at their trade. So your cut may have once been $65, but now that your stylist has moved up some arbitrary level, youll pay $85 the next time you get the same exact cut from the same exact person. This pricing structure and business model is ridiculous. That they cant provide their services at set prices is insane. Aside from that, I agree with what the other reviewers have said about how they up-charge you without telling you (for e.g., while your head is in the sink getting shampooed, they will either tell you that you "need" a deep condition, or they will ask if you want one without telling you that it costs $20 extra - which is also absurd considering that all they do is leave the conditioning product in your hair for an extra few minutes). And other reviewers have mentioned their aggressive sales pitches, which I also hated as well. No, I dont want to buy your products that you will never discount and that I can buy on Amazon for 50% less.

I must warn EVERYONE in the internet that these people at Trini are THIEVES. And they have no problem ripping your money off and telling it your face. There is no costumer service whatsoever. Gustavo or Susy the manager/ manager assistant will rob you and laugh about it with their British accent. TWO things happened to me in this place. First I payed $250 for eyelash extensions that fell off completely in the next TWO days. They didnt only fall off, but my own lashes were broken to the middle of their original natural length. This is the MOST FRUSTRATING thing that can happen to a woman. Her lashes and her hair. Before all of these happened, I got my highlights done, and the lady used bleach (I specifically told her I wanted tint only) and my hair is also braking horribly, lost its texture, shine and lenght. Putting a foot on that salon was the worst thing I could have done, I regret it TERRIBLY They robbed me and destroyed my lashes and hair that I care so much for. When I called for a fixup/refund, they did an even worst job, fast and obnoxiously, like they didnt care at all. No manager would come out and talk to me "he was on a conference call" they left me waiting for hours, I never saw him. I called for a whole week after that trying to reach them and offered me a blow dry as an apology. A BLOW DRY??? You robbed me more that $500 in ONE DAY!!!! These people are SCAMMERS! BEWARE!
