I have been to this location on several occasions. This time I decided to arrive without an appointment. I was service immediately. I told the nail tech what I wanted and she quickly persuaded me to take one of the higher priced signature pedicures. I went a long with it since she said that was her specialty. I began to enjoy myself. Maria is great at giving massages on your calf, not your feet. I asked her if she could focus on the heel and center of my foot and she told me it would come later on. The foot massage lasted all of a minute and was average. She seemed distracted. She seemed rather interested in trying to get me to spend more money instead of what she was doing at that moment. We made our way over to the manicure bar and even though I had a half filled glass of wine, she asked if I wanted another. Ummm? Do you expect me to chug this? She was great with the hand massage and cleaning my cuticles, but when it came to detail... I wasnt impressed. She told me for $15 I could upgrade to a paraffin treatment. I went along with it since I was trying to treat myself and relax. Halfway through the manicure, she tells me that my eyebrows needed to be done because they looked uneven. Ummm? Is this how you get clients to ask for your eyebrow service? I looked to my friend and he said that they did an awesome job but that I didnt need it. She then proceeded to put a thin coat of gloss on my nails which had paraffin on them... If you have ever done or had a manicure before, you would know that the polish will not stick to the nail. I had to ask her to remove the polish and she proceeded to tell me that buffing was a better alternative and that she knew the polish would stick to the nail. So why did you place it on my nails to begin with? I get to the reception area to make my way to pay and had to way about 10 minutes for an explanation on a break down of my bill. I still believe that I was overcharged. I paid it to be done with it. I regret to say that I will not return to this location. This use to be my favorite spa. My friends and I use to frequent at least every other month. Take care of your clients needs first and the money to line your pockets will come. If you are looking for a good spa, this is not the place to go. I spent over $100 and the detail along with quality of service was less than average. Not a happy client.

I am not reviewing the services of Tipsy, only their marketing practices... Tipsys promotional employees visited my school parking lot to put their flyers on the students car windshields, including my own. Unfortunately, the flyers stuck overnight to our car windows, and are now impossible to remove. Even worse, if I use my windshield wipers, the adhesive spreads. I contacted the owner of Tipsy as soon as I found out about the problem. He did offer salon services for compensation, however, I am a guy who does not get his nails done. All I want is to remove the flyer from my car without wasting my time and money. I asked the owner if he would consider buying me a voucher to have the flyer removed by an auto detailing company. He flat-out refused. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Florida and filed a complaint against Tipsy. If you have had similar problems with Tipsy flyers, I ask that you take the time to do the same. If Tipsys employees did damage to your car, even if they did not intend to, they are liable for repairing the harm. Please take the time if you have been affected by Tipsys flyers, it will build our case if every violation is accounted for.

My daughter and I went there yesterday for Mothers day and got Gel manicures with regular pedicures. The service my daughter received was great and we are happy with her results. She was pampered and the guy doing her nails was very friendly. Mine however was horrible. Evan was rude and even made fun of the work he needed to do on my feet, right in front of me. My feet were not bad and the amount of scrubbing he thought he had to do was actually quite painful. The manicure wasnt any better. He for some reason thought he needed to sand my nails down to do the gel mani, and then put 6 coats of primer on them. He then rushed through the rest of the mani because my daughters nails were already done. He even skipped the massage part all together. I had to come home and fix a couple of my nails because he did such a poor job of filing them that they had sharp corners and were catching on things. I was nice, and still gave him the full tip (20) but if I ever go back there I will make sure to request that he gets no where near me.

Heard good things about Tipsy salon in Jupiter, so today they had a 20.00 pedicure special (Tues and Wed) so I took advantage of it. Well a nice, well received staff at desk, prompt appt. service in person and on the phone. Very pretty salon, however the person doing my pedicure , Lisa, left me waiting a bit, on her cell phone texting, then while I with her at the chair, again texting, no introduction of herself while putting my feet in the water , and continued on her cell, when done she looked bewildered when she thought no tip, i did tip her for an ok pedicure, but will definitely return with an appt for someone else. Salon was clean, courteous and nice decor. You know when you do not request someone in particular sometimes get the leftovers...this person lacked salon etiquette, prices good ect..

Ive had a few pedicures at Tipsys... nothing special but no complaints. I had my first gel manicure done there last Tuesday and will absolutely not go back. The girl was nice, but did like 4-5 layers of paint and put my hands in/out of the UV machine very quickly. I didnt think too much of it until the first nail peeled off two days after I had it done. Mind you, I was on vacation so there was no dishwashing, etc. Two days after that, two additional nails had peeled off and one had chipped. I peeled the rest of myself since it looked so bad. Didnt even need to use remover to get the polish off. I called to speak to the manager two days ago and havent received a call back so now instead of complaining privately, I am leaving a review for everyone to see. I will not be going back.

I have been a client of Tipsys since day one. As of today Im no longer a customer of theirs. Its sad Im a new mom and to raise the prices for a basic nail fill from $17 to $25 is ridiculous. You can pretty much go into any nail salon in this town and pay no more than $20 for a basic fill. That is $16 more a month out of my pocket which is a week supply of formula for my child. Its sad because you should have some kind of plan or loyalty program for the customers that want to be loyal to you. Not everybody that lives in Jupiter is wealthy. To some getting their nails done is a treat especially to new stay at home moms that dont work anymore.
