I thought Primary Prep seemed like a great place to take my son, but several things happened that I was not okay with. First of all, my son was enrolling in their FREE VPK program from 9-12:30 Monday-Friday. This is a state funded program that they are, by law, not allowed to charge any money or fees for. Yet, the woman in the office tried to tell me that I needed to pay a registration fee on two different occasions. I tried to explain this to them, that I was under the impression that it was free (according to the ELC), but they tried to collect payment from me anyways. The woman actually went as far as telling me that "they have made alot of budget cuts to the program, and the school may not even be around soon if they didnt recieve the money." Another not so professional thing was done... My husband picked up our son after school and the teacher mentioned that he had a problem putting his hands on someone that day. The situation seemed to be that my son thought this person was playing, but the child genuinely wanted my son to stop bothering them and my son laughed because he thought they were playing. The teacher told my husband "You might want to have a talk with your son before someone punches him in the face." Not the most professional thing I have ever heard come out of a childcare providers mouth. Needless to say, I was not very satisfied with their services. I removed my son and found more suitable, professional care.

My child started here about 6 months ago and I cant believe how much she has learned and developed in such a short period of time. I had her in a at home day care her 1st 4 yrs of her life and really wish I would of started her sooner as Primary Prep. We are very happy with all the staff! If in the future we have another child he/she will def. be going to Primary prep! I recommend this school daily and I hope if you are searching for a place to place your child you choose Primary!!

When I walked in and interviewed Primary Prep School I immediately knew this was the place for my daughter. There was no question in my mind! The teachers are great and my daughter loves them all. I looked at 5 different schools before finding Primary Prep. If you are considering a school for your child just visit them and you will see what I mean. I hope this recommendation helps others in search of a school as I consider myself a very particular parent.

The teachers and staff there always take the best care of my kids. Always are helpful and seem excited to see my kids. My children always come home with great stories for there day at school. Mrs. Amber(3/4 year old teacher), Mrs. Jenn(Director), & Miss. Stephanie(2year old teacher) are amazing! They have a great bond with the parents that makes you feel safe!!

We all enjoyed our time at Primary Prep very much. Our daughter grew so much emotionally as well as in her self confidence. Her kindergarten teacher is thrilled and impressed with how prepared she is. Ms Elaine and Ms Clara are priceless to us. They helped our family grow and learn together!

Viewed their 05/08/2015 inspection report online. There are so many noncompliances. I doubt this center is operated by a qualified director, see who signed the report. Check the DCF website, Child Care, For Families, Provider Search before enrolling your child here.
