All these reviews I USED to agree with- But all these reviews are from back when Solid Step had their old former nicer caring owners. it has been sold to a different owner who has no previous experience in child care, just experience in catholic elementary. Those are two completely different things. Child care is a lot harder and you have to be more enthusiastic, passionate, and calm about day care. Maryanne h. (the owner since jan. 2010) takes your money each week without talking to you, puts your one year old in a tw year old room to make ratio so she can receive more money, and sits in her office all day bossing empoyees around on walkie talkies. This day care is not what it used to be sad to say. I miss the old owners. My children will never go back, and i inform everyone i can, to save hem money, stress, and the future of their loving children.

Solid Step is the best center I have been to. The owners interact with the children and they are very kind and understanding. The teachers there are very well certified and attentive to my kids. I get greeting when I walk through the door every morning and when I leave they always tell me to have a great day. I feel that my kids are being very well taking care of and that there needs are meet. They come home everyday and tell me what they have learned. Since my kids have been going there they have learned so much and Im so thankful for that. If you are looking for a quality childcare center, with teacher who are well certified this Solid Step is the place you want to take your kids.

My kids were at this preschool for over 2 years. The standards of the rule book only applied when it was convient for the owner. The teachers were constantly leaving or being let go of. As long as I agreed with the owner everything would be ok; but if you dont agree with the rules she made up that day then it will not work. My children liked it, but as the parent you get to see a lot of things that really go on. Such as a child being grabbed harshly by a teacher and when I brought it up to the owner she stated that this was not the first she was hearing of it!!! I should have ran then! Thankfully my children were not in that classroom and had great teachers in their rooms.

Engaging, supportive, challenging, and stimulating. Four words that I would use to summarize my daughters experience here in the voluntary pre-K program. I love this school and have no misgivings about the quality of the care, attention and learning she gets. And, lets not forget they offer Spanish and music! Let me just add that my daughter had never ever been in a preschool or day care environment and she had a terrible time adjusting. The staff was wonderful with her! I also have no misgivings about her personal safety or the cleanliness of the facility - I have never spotted any issues, including in the restrooms!

I DONT UNDERSTAND ALL THE BASHING ON MARYANN. SHE IS A GREAT DIRECTOR AND SHE RUNS A TIGHT SHIP AND I LOVE THAT!!! HER TEACHERS ARE AMAZING AND SHE HAS A VERY KIND HEART. MY DAUGHTER IS SLIGHTLY HANDI-CAP AND SHE HAS SOME SPECIAL NEEDS. SOLID STEPS HAS BEEN VERY UNDERSTANDING AND CARING TO TEND TO OUR FAMILY AND OUR LITTLE GIRL. MY DAUGHTER STAYED HOME WITH ME UP UNTIL SHE WAS 2 AND WE PUT HER IN THERE AND THEY HAVE TOOK HER IN AND LOVED HER. SHE LEARNS ALOT THERE AND SHE IS IN A CLEAN AND LOVING ENVIRONMENT. DONT LISTEN TO ALL THE NEGATIVE PEOPLE. GO SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!

If youre looking for a daycare facility, I would highly suggest Solid Step Learning Center. My son just finished his year of the VPK Program, Mrs. Noras classroom. He had a wonderful experience. I was thankful for my child to be in the care of such kind, loving people. Mrs. Nora prepared my child with the knowledge he needs for Kindergarten. The proof is in the progress report! Braylon was heartbroken when he learned he couldnt have Mrs. Nora as his Kindergarten teacher. YOU LADIES ROCK!!! <3
