They are WAY overpriced. I mean, they even go as far as to look more prestigious by putting "AVENTURA" in the name... They are in North Miami... Thats like naming your business with an A in the front just to be put in the front of the phone book. You basically pay for the area, not the quality of care. Now, I am all for spending money on my kids, but this place is a total waste of money for the price they charge parents. After all, what parent will NOT want the best for their child. I knew about 4 families that brought there kids there. I decided to go elsewhere. My kids are much more advanced than those that went to ALC in our circle of friends. They spoke earlier, they interact with children better, they behaved better. I understand that some kids are different than others, but to a certain extent. ALC is closed for random days that other Daycares are not. Yes they have 2nd graders, but your not really a "School", so you should at least have your daycare open. Your given Late Passes, and once your out of them (for example, woke up late on a day off) you cant bring your kid to the daycare that day... Again, I know they are trying to have a Curriculum, but lets be real. You are doing them a service by enrolling your child, not them doing you a favor for accepting them. Im not going to throw the name of my kids daycare out there, mainly cause I dont want people to think that I work for them, or want to do them a favor. Not in the least bit. But I will say that I like the kid/teacher ratio of less than 20 in my kids daycare. I like the fact that we dont have to bring lunches to the school, they provide a very nutritious meal plan for the children (approved by the state, as well as the parents, as we are all given a copy of the months meal schedule to look over). I love the fact that I can drop them off anytime between the hours of 7AM and 6PM. I dont have to jump out of bed and get dressed and rush out the door on a day the family can stay in, eat breakfast together as a FAMILY, and go to "SCHOOL" at our leisure. And only paying $110 a week certainly helps... Overall, dont believe the hype. After all, its not hard to create an account with these random websites and put up your own posting about your own company. I would sit outside and ask the parents that walk out of the place. Ask them their point of view. See how many say how wonderful it is for the price they pay...

Pulled my 2 year old out after three months. No open door policy, arts and crafts seem to be non-existent. My kid came home in diapers with the name "Bentley" .. (on many occasions). Lost clothes, came home in other kids shirts. Maybe I just got a bad classroom, but this came across as a glorified baby sitting service/kid factory with security cameras. The "work" I was presented was pathetic. Pages ripped out of coloring books ... zero creativity goes into what the kids do. It took 2 months for my kid to warm up to this school and I can see why. Day one of his new school and its a totally different experience. Again .. lots of good reviews here, so maybe just a bad class. Great people/staff - but the owners need to step up and reinvent themselves.

Aventura Learning Center lo recomiendo 100%. Nuestro hijo salió muy bien preparado para entrar al colegio. Mrs Paniagua y Mrs Pinto fueron las profesoras que le tocaron a mi hijo las cuales les agradezco y las recomiendo 100% también. Mrs Otero, gracias y felicitaciones por ese gran sitio que tienen para cuidar y educar a los niños.

The Two comments below are clearly done in a malicious manner in order to defame the great reputation of this school . the school is accredited and gold seal awarded . they just dont give you this rating . i encourage any and all interested parties considering this school for their child to come and visit and see for yourself and ask the current parents how they feel . then contact the owner directors Eileen and Richard Otero for any further questions or concerns . we encourage you to visit the surrounding schools and compare for yourself .

What a mistake putting my kid in this school. Didnt learn ANYTHING all year Pre-K! Actually, made a step backwards. They do one page a day and the page is on the level of the 2 year old. They sleep 2 hours!!! The turnaround of the unsatisfied staff is outrages. When they are selling it to you, you would think its a Harvard, in reality, its a low class dirty and useless place.

Reading a couple of nasty reviews left by imaginary parents, all I can say is that the competition must be desperate. I am leaving a positive review because I know the reality, Aventura Learning Center is a top rated school, my children are living proof of that and that is all I need. Keep on going the way you are, the nay sayer will be left in the dust.

Great great school!! Transferred my daughter from a daycare that I felt all they did was play and she was learning nothing more than to throw tantrums! Its the Best decision Ive made thus far, my daughter is much more compliant, understanding and mature with the One month and a half shes been in attendance. Great staff as well.
