I was working with Kforce for 6 months. Keep in mind i am very educated, i have a college degree and 5 years experience. Kforce would occasionally call me about opportunities, some i liked and some i didnt. however if i expressed a liking to a job I would tell them, and any other good recruiting company would follow back with that person a few days later, maybe even a week to say hey sorry we have not heard anything back from the client, or they would provide some kind of update. I generally was working with one recruiter, her name is Kristin Stevens. I would say we had a good understanding of each other and would talk some what regularly (everything as good).. all of a sudden Kristin starts dodging my calls, not responding to my emails. I at first figured maybe shes busy and she will all me back in a day or 2.... NOT THE CASE. I have yet to hear from Kristin Stevens for 4 MONTHS!.. Maybe she doesnt work there anymore right? SO I CALLED.. some guy picks up the phone i asked for Kristin Stevens and if she was available.. he says YES.. I hear him say to her, hey what is your extension? I then hear a mute then a transfer, and it goes right to her voice mail. At this point IM PISSED!. so i leave a message for her to call me back that day. Some frustration in my voice was apparent, but not unprofessional.. guess what? SHE HAS YET TO CALL ME BACK! KForce has been a nightmare to work with, I recommend avoiding this company all together!

I think most people dont realize that these staffing companies have not only you, but other employees they are searching for opportunities for as well. Initially, I was frustrated but after expressing that to the right people, "my recruiter Adam" really proactively reached out to constantly update me on potential opportunities he felt would be a great fit. Staffing companies are at the mercy of their clients ultimately they are waiting for them to make a decision! I never felt as though Adam was simply trying to get me "any" job, he was working on a right fit financially and one that I would be comfortable in. My advice to job seekers you must do your due diligence by keeping the lines of communication open. Best of luck to everyone in your search!

I worked for Kforces corporate office and I can tell you it is a revolving door. Upper management is clueless and middle management just kisses butt to remain there. The whole place is a huge farce. Kforce pretends to care for the community and their staff - trust me, this is not the case. You will get dropped like a hot potato in a NY minute. I suggest that you do not waste your time and keep looking for a better place of employment.

My recruiter is Alicia Wilson and the 1st opportunity fell through, I got over it and asked that she keep me in mind for the next one. She did just that. In only a few weeks she called with another opportunity and I have an upcoming interview thanks to Alicia and Kforce. I recommend you stick in there with these guys they work hard for you! Thanks Alicia!
