A WARNING TO PARENTS OF INFANTS: I chose prosperity day school for my infant sons first day care because of the webcams. This is my first child, and I felt that the webcams would give me some peace of mind. His first day was 2 days ago. I dropped him off at 8 am and spent about an hour with him and the employees making sure they were comfortable with him and vice versa. Then I went home and logged on to watch him. The webcams do not provide a clear picture of the children. In addition theres no sound so theres no way to tell if the babies are crying. I went back to check on my son at 1 pm. He was in the middle of the room in a bouncer, screaming his head off, covered in spit up, with a full diaper. (I obviously know babies cry sometimes, but I had never seen him so red faced and upset) The employee, said (in a very condescending tone) "he wanted to be held and we cant hold him all the time, we have other things to do." He did not have a crib made up for him - even though 5 hours earlier I provided a crib sheet and blanket. "We didnt have time to make one up" was the answer I was provided. In addition, none of their swings work because they "dont have batteries." The 2 employees spent the next 30 minutes talking to each other in Spanish, which I dont speak, so I have no idea what they were saying. As a mother, Ive never been so upset. (not even during labor) The people running the school are nice - but the employees in the infant room are unkind, dismissive, irresponsible people. I would not suggest anyone leave their babies with them. I cried so much. I pulled my son out immediately and enrolled him in a new day care. I am warning all mothers - do not let the webcams affect your decision. Its not worth it. Babies should be treated with nothing but kindness and patience. Thats not the environment at this school.

I suspect the Director has taken the underhanded steps to remove my truthful review to shelter her from deserved scrutiny. I republish the below review as a service to prospective and current parents. In a matter of months, the staff of this daycare went from embracing my son to robbing him of his dignity as a human being. The so-called professional teachers of this institution cultivated a culture of dishonesty and ignorance, providing me with misinformation--if any at all. A series of seemingly isolated events compounded to affect the personal safety, intellectual development, and emotional welfare of my child. Whether accusing my son of engaging in self-injurious behavior only to discover that the proof was unsubstantiated and false since a teacher recanted her explanation, or accusing him of endangering himself or others (to the contradiction of an outside professional who works with him regularly on site), Prosperity staff and upper management made it their mission to single out my son. The director, Kathleen, could offer nothing in the way of explaining the inconsistencies and mistruths perpetuated by the staff. Instead, she colluded with them to banish my child from their institution. Her apathy, unprofessionalism, and dispassion are unfathomable. Please, parents, be mindful of the discriminatory and dishonest practices employed all too automatically at this institution of learning.

WARNING!!! UNSAFE AND UNSANITARY CONDITIONS!!!! I loved Prosperity Day School until I walked in on several disturbing incidences. I found the entire class of two-year-olds sitting in the bathroom on the floor watching while the other children get changed right there on the bathroom floor. This happened twice, and no one there saw a problem in the little toddlers spending long periods of time on the bathroom floor! All of the toddlers were squeezed into the bathroom, and the teachers were just talking to each other. The other incident was I came to pick my 2-year-old and found the teachers inside while the toddlers were outside. When I went to the playground, I found my son without shoes! The school policy is that they always wear sneakers because there are lots of things the toddlers could step on...And when I confronted the teachers they said they knew he was missing a shoes, and they hadnt gotten a chance to put it on. These actions are unsanitary and very dangerous. My son was neglected and could have stepped on something sharp and injured himself badly. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!! They are oblivious to safety and cleanliness.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!

My son has gone to prosperity day school since 2009 and he has loved it, with every teacher he has been able to develop a special bond and talks about them even after we go home. He is in the VPK class now and Mrs. Christal makes sure to take her time with each and every one of those children giving them that special attention they all need to be able to develop, learn and grow. In 2011 my daughter started in the infant class and is now in the toddlers classroom, all of the teachers have been able to develop a special bond with her as well. My kids are excited to go to school every day and to spend time with their friends that they have made there and the best part is I feel comfortable having them there. Mrs. Donna, Mrs. Kathleen and Mrs. Kim will do anything that they can to accomidate any needs or concerns that you may have about the facility, I have had a few things that I have talked about with them and right away we were able to come to a conclusion and found a level ground for all of us to be happy and comfortable with. After being involved in other daycares in the area I am very happy with PDS and its staff.

Words cant express my feelings about Prosperity Day School. From the moment we walk into the school until the time we leave we always feel welcomed. I love to see as your walking into the classrooms how the children are expressing their creativity with art and words they say! The classrooms are clean, and organized with ample learning toys. This school is Amazing! You need to go into the school and see for yourself how loving and caring the teachers are. My daughter has been attending PDS for almost 2 years now. Its very comforting when I leave my daughter in their care to know she will have many activities planned for the day. It always puts a smile on my face to walk into the classroom when I pick her up and she is smiling and dancing or sitting down with her wonderful teachers Ms. Elizabeth, Ms. Karla and Ms. Sophia reading books or playing with puppets making the animals sounds. As I said before the school is AMAZING!

I absolutely love this school ! My daughter loves it too. Every one that works there is so sweet and caring and just great with kids. My daughter is too and she can count to 10 and sing her ABCs. Every day she comes home talking and singing about something new she learned and i owe it all to this school and the awesome education they provide ! I feel at ease leaving her there every day i know i can check on cameras through out the day to see what she is up to. If something bothers me or if i have a question i just call the school and they handle it right away or get me an answer in that same phone call. The staff is friendly and super helpful. I would recommend this day care to every one !
