I called three other "hair salons" in Palm Harbor area seeking a fresh shampoo and a French braid to tame my long hair on a warm, sticky day typical of Florida. They didnt have one hairdresser/stylist who knew how to do a French braid! I called Palm Harbor Barber Shop because its close by and what the heck.... I was able to get in right away. Anna gave me a fabulous shampoo that smells so nice the rest of the day. She braided my hair with just the right tension- not too tight. It looks lovely! If Anna had been busy, there was someone else who could have done it. I could do it myself, but at their reasonable rate, Ill be in on a regular bases for a fresh shampoo and braid. The shop is definitely a guys kind of decor, but I came in to feel and look better than I walked in. I left exceeding my expectations. I didnt miss the chic decor.

My 16 year old daughter was hit on by employees and patrons while we were getting in our car parked on the street outside the shop. After I made the comment "Quit being gross" I was mocked and threatened by the medium skinned long dark hair employee that said "Ill smack you upside the head". Absolutely sickening for a grown man at a proclaimed "Family" shop!!!!! Disgusted....

Waited hour and a half to be skipped multiple times because no one could do a skin fade. Finally get in the guys chair that can do it. He goes outside to smoke while I sit in his chair. If you value time or being treated like a person I would not recommend this place.

Wayne, Joe and the folks treat you like an old friend. I am new to the area and I spotted an ad on the local Savers Digest for the shop. First time I have used an official senior discount too! Be prepared for a bit of a wait depending on your arrival time.

Decent haircut skills depending on who you get. But, its very old and rundown. Mostly ladies cutting which is fine but all they did what gossip the whole time...if you want a real barber shop go to McGuires in Dunedin

I always get a great haircut, with a smile and a welcome. It is a busy shop but worth the wait. I normally utilize Debz as my barber, with Cindy as a backup. You cant go wrong, just tell them how you want to look.

Excellent price, cut is barber dependent but usually good-great, nothing fancy just your neighborhood barber. Find a barber you like and ask for them the next time, they have no problem with that!

Great local shop. Hometown feel. Maybe tough parking during events on the street. Hidden jem is Wayne. Been there a very long time but best barber in the shop. Worth the wait over other barbers.

HORRIBLE!!!! I took my son there and the first guy REALLY messed it up. Then the manager, who agreed it was VERY messed up, tried to fix it. Oh brother. NO skill in this place!!! Do NOT go there!
