Horrible!!! My 5 year old was left in a room for 5 hours without adult supervision during their end of year performance... he was told he could not eat his snacks. They had 80 kids crammed into 2 dressing rooms and a teenage boy watching them. The parents were not allowed to see there kids and we were told to drop them off at noon when the performance started at 4pm. Maraj was good with the kids when they didnt have the show to practice for... but then when it was time to start the practice (3 months prior) every week she changed her attitude each class and was becoming more sour and impatient. The studio is poorly up kept and very small and dirty... for the money spent by the parents you would think they would have a beautiful venue. The kids lost interest and didnt want to dance. We were forced to pay $150.00 per costume and for the boys it was a yellow t-shirt with pink polka dots and pink pants. Something that we easily could have paid no more than $50.00 for. The seats ranged from $25.00 - $45.00 and we were told we could not record the show with our phones. They forced us to pay for the DVD ($50.00) to see our children perform. Several of the parents including my self left during intermission to get our kids... they are 4-6 year olds and they should have been given the chance to see the show and not sit in a room staring at walls for 8 hours. They would not release our children and shut the door on us and called security. We had to threaten to call the cops, this was outrageous. My 5 yr. old was dehydrated and starving when I left. If you love your child and wish for them to enjoy the fun in dance, I urge you to not go to this school. They will loose the love of fun.....

My daughter has taken classes at Jus Hip Hop for over a year now and she loves it! Ms. Maraj is amazingly talented and is so good with the children in her classes. Im so glad I found this dance studio :-) Update: Stil love, love, love this dance studio!! Its a no twerking school, which is very important to me. I want my daughter to learn about hip hop and the elements of hip hop and that is what Ms. Maraj teaches. My daughter attends both hip hop and pop locking classes and they are the highlight of her week! She loves Ms. Maraj and Ms. Celebrity (the popping/locking teacher) and they are both so good at teaching and helping the children to learn. Ms. Jane welcomes you and explains everything about the classes and is the sweetest! My daughter is starting her fourth year at this school and we wouldnt go anywhere else.

I was searching for a more clean hip hop dance class for my 7(now 8) year old and found this place. Although it is a 40 minute drive, I liked the atmosphere for her and decided to try it out. There is absolutely no vulgar dancing going on here and that is a huge PLUS for me. The classes were good but I gave Jus Hip Hop 3 stars because I absolutely hated the production process. It is extremely unorganized and time demanding because of the lack of organization. I hated the long lectures after practice, hated being talked to like a child in front of my child; hated being told to be there at a certain time or you will be left out; only to get there and have to wait 2 extra hours or more. I could go on and on!

Jus Hip-Hop Dance Studio is a very amazing studio to go to if you would like to learn how to dance or gain more experience. I had the opportunity to attend their first show and I must say that what I saw blew me away. The owner is a very good instructor and will drill you hard to make sure you get it right which is why this studio is the best to attend.

My home away from home! Ms. Maraj and the Jus Hip Hop team are amazing dance instructors & people. Im in my second year as an adult Hip Hop student and I highly recommend you check out the studio for fun, a great workout and a professional level of dance instruction!
