This dance studio is suitable for those students interested in dance as recreation. The program offered is not designed to equip a serious dance student with the training needed to dance on a professional or even pre-professional level. The space is inadequate for the volume of students who attend each class and the ratio of students to teachers in some cases has been 32 to 1. The director is subject to preferential treatment of the girls in her classes, which creates a negative overall tone for the entire studio. There are many former students attending surrounding studios who, if asked, could tell you some stories that cast this place in a definitively unpleasant light. The director also does not approve if you choose to enroll your child for instruction anywhere other than her own studio while you are attending hers. This is a money-making business, not for nuturing young talent. I would not recommend this business to anyone but the least committed of students.

My daughter has danced at this studio for 8 years and LOVES it! She exhibits improved skills each year, and has set her sights on owning her own studio one day. The classes are challenging, but still fun. The recitals at the Stevens Center are top notch! Other studios in the area that have very strong reputations do not create anywhere close to the performance experience the girls here receive. They get the true feel of a large production performance, not just dancing on local school stages. I would recommend the studio to anyone!

When our family moved to this area four years ago, I was delighted when we found In Motion Dance Center. From the beginning, it felt like home. The office staff has consistently been able to fit my daughters hard to fit feet perfectly for shoes. Their patience and expertise in maintaining a studio of excellence has been appreciated. The dance instructors have been simply amazing. Their blend of professional standards and interpersonal skills sets the perfect tone that makes In Motion Dance Center a place that my daughter loves!!

My daughter enjoyed classes here and some of the teachers are very good. However, the owner gives preferential treatment to the kids that take multiple classes. The more money you spend there the better your child will get treated. The big show of the season is well done but very, very long. So long it boarders on punishment. If your kid was only one one class you will spend hours at the show for the three minutes your kid has on stage.

OMG I really do love this studio it is the best. I have been dancing at Inmotion for about 5 years. The teachers are very nice and help you to strive for your best. Inmotion dance company is the best. I think of Inmotion as a home away from home.You should really go to inmotion I am sure that you will love it .

I personally have been a dancer here at In motion for four years and I have never loved anything more. I was originally a street dancer before I moved to North Carolina but now ballet is everything. Also, the studio director will not hesitate to push you as far as you can go. Ms. Michelle is the absolute best.

I LOVE this studio. Ive been going there for the past 8 years and have loved each one. There are so many programs for students. The director is very kind and able to work around tight schedules. The recitals are Amzing and the experience is very fun. Id recommend it to anyone

Read the review before you decide to go there! Like other review say, The more money you spend there the better your child will get treated!! And some worker there is rude too! Never bring my kids back there again. Horrible
