Had our 7 month old there for 2 days and I truly regret it. The teachers were nice and the Director, Adrian, was a very nice lady; however, the owner, Maria, on the other hand will be what causes that daycare to shut down. She is cruel, rude, judgemental, narcissistic, and an absolute disgrace to her title. Its amazing and concerning that she actually has children of her own considering how dramatic she reacted over my infant not adapting to a new setting and environment on her VERY FIRST 2 days of daycare!! On day one: I, the dad, had to come there early because they couldnt figure out how to get my daughter to eat. I thought that was odd considering that is what WE ARE PAYING THEM FOR. On day two: Maria, the owner, blew up my wifes phone on her second day of her new job. She threatened my wife that if she didnt come feed her at the daycare that she would have to pick her up because it "wasnt going to work out". Then she proceeded to say, "I thought you were flexible". I might be wrong, but since when has flexibility ever been a qualification for having a child in daycare??? As a matter of fact, I thought it was the exact opposite! If a child is not eating at daycare and crying all day, figure out a way to stop them. We figured it out and we were getting paid 900 dollars a month to do it either!! Once again I have nothing bad to say about the teachers or the director. They originally what drove us to that place. However, I hope Maria reads this review and realizes what a low life piece of caca she really is for talking to my wife the way you did and worrying like that! Im so glad we Learned this now and not a year from now, so thank you for that.

My daughter started Adventure Bay when she was 3 years old after she had been in a home day care for over a year. She was super shy but after several months, she really enjoyed it here, and has really taken off. She has loved it since. I have to say that Adventure Bay Early Learning Center has so many enrichment programs that have helped my child develop socially, stimulated her mind on a day-to-day basis and most importantly, she was surrounded by teachers who loved and care for her. The staff is so helpful and accommodating and we communicate regularly to ensure we received the latest information and to be involved with our children’s development. Ms. Gaye is one of the sweetest teachers I have ever met, and I like how she communicates to the child so they can understand. Her sweet and positive approach really instilled great values in them. I also enjoy the many activities and projects offered..Im especially pleased at the extra curricular lessons they offer the children at the school such as dance, karate, and soccer. The weekly classroom newsletters, and now the parent volunteers and getting pictures on the Shutterfly web site truly keeps us parents connected to what our children does during the day and to network with other families so the children can play together. I’m really grateful that I put my child here, she is no longer shy but adventurous and loves to see all the teachers. The VPK program is excellent and will certainly prepare my child for elementary school. We will miss everyone when we leave!

This school discriminated against me. They have a small handful of black students for reasons of tokenism. I inquired in person and the director told me they had no space for additional students and I called a few days later without giving my name and was told "yes, we have space". My child and I left out of state for several months and upon returning, I visited Adventure Bay once again. I couldnt believe I had the exact same experience for the second time. I have reported this institution to the Board of Ethics within the School Board and will pursue this matter. I brought this issue to the Directors attention and she told me that Adventure Bay "WAS NOT THE SCHOOL FOR MY CHILD!" I am a college graduate, from a family of successful entrepreneurs and one myself. Our society is entering a time of diversity which includes Americas first minority President. As a community we need to do everything in our power to discourage prejudice and discrimination. I am very upset that my innocent 4 year old had to face this saddening experience. I argued for our rights and hope this institution will learn from their doing.

My daughter has been going to Adventure Bay since she was a year and a half old. I fell in love with the school the first day I took a tour. The teachers are so loving and caring and treat every child as if they were their own. The entire staff at the school is amazing. The classrooms are clean and decorated so nicely. The equipment at the school is new and always being updated.They offer so many activities for the kids including media, gym, outdoor play time, snack time, cooking projects, swimming in the on-site pool etc. My daughter is graduating next month from their VPK program and can read and write. Adventure Bay has a structured curriculum and isnt just a daycare center. I would highly recommend Adventure Bay to anyone looking for a preschool.

After touring every possible Day Care in a 5-10 mile radius!!! We finally decided on Adventure Bay Learning Center... my son is/was a little behind on his Vocal development, and in a few short months we have seen and HEARD a great improvement on his vocal development and general development! We are excited to see him continue his growth and become more and more independent and vocal! Plus the teachers are AMAZING, so far I always feel like Im leaving him with an extended family or friend!

My grandchildren attended Adventure Bay (Tek); and we will be forever grateful to the dedicated Staff and forward-thinking Administration for the educational foundation they provide to children. This school teaches and prepares children to meet many of the challenges they will face during their formal education years. We are so proud of all our grandchildren have accomplished, and we own a debt of gratitude to Adventure Bay (Tek).

History Across Broward

The teachers and staff are fantastic! They have a swimming program, media center, a dedicated reading teacher, small-group activities and a big playground. All of the structured activities engaged my kids in learning and growing into responsible students. Im very happy here and highly recommend it! RJF
