Me and my wife come from the northeast where education and family values are qualities of an educational institution that we look for. Coming to Vero Beach we where a little nervous because of the big change in our childrens school and environment. After we saw nearly every school in the Vero Beach area, my wife and I new that Kendall Academy was no comparison to other schools we had visited. Kendall Academy in Vero Beach sets the standard to what an early-learning center should be. The staff, educational curriculum, cleanliness and facilities exceeded our expectations. The staff at Kendall Academy not only understood our concerns of moving to a new area, but guided us and our child to getting adjusted to our new community. When my child was out of school last week, the Director and my childrens teacher both called our home to see how they were feeling. All in all for any parent who is looking for a school and loving environment for their child’s pre-school education, Kendall Academy was in our minds the most obvious choice.

The teachers are nice but most seem very inexperienced. The front desk employee will only greet you in the beginning after youve paid. I saw the last review and I can validate that the kids seem to be in front of the TV a lot. God forbid if your kid has a bad day, apparently they’re not allowed to because It felt like the teachers and the owners go out of their way to make you feel like you had bad day. Last, the owner argued w/me in the cafeteria in front of kids and would not go in the hallway or give me a time for a conference. Extremely unprofessional behavior towards the end of our stay. There were some good times but the bad times were too much to overcome. Good luck!

Kendall Academy is a well-organized, educational environment for children attending day care and/ or pre school. They have consistent routines including play time, reading, writing, and much more. My daughter has been going there since she was about 14 months. I checked out all the daycare facilities in Vero Beach and this by far was the best choice. Im amazed at how well she has advanced attending the academy. The teachers are very caring, responsible, and TRUSTWORTHY. I would HIGHLY recommend this to any parent looking for a structured, stimulating, and positive environment to place their child in.

I almost didnt go to this daycare after reading the reviews. I enrolled my daughter into a different daycare at first, and she didnt like it at all. So, I decided to check Kendall Academy which I was very glad I did it. I really think they care about the kids, they have different activities and my daughter was very happy there. The place is very clean and they provide the food to the kids. If you are looking for a daycare, go visit this daycare before you make a decision. Sometimes people have different experiences, I think this daycare is the best one in the area.

I worked here for only a few days, when I realized that they were not telling the parents everything I quit. Its not that they are abusing the children or anything like that, but if a child fell or hit another kid, when the parnets picked them up they would say ohh she was great today, see yah tomorrow, they want to seem perfect and everyone knows children are not perfect, so if I was a parent here I would know something was up, since I quit I have had a child of my own and I would NEVER put them in this facility, NEVER !

Great School My daughter attended from about from 1 year old to kindergarten. Now my two boys have been attending for about two years and will continue until kindergarten. The school is over a 30 mile round trip from my house and work and I pass several other daycares along the way. The teachers and staff are well worth the 60 miles a day we drive and every dime we pay. If you want a school that actually teaches your children rather than simply parking them in front of a TV this is the school for you.

The school is on the low end of being OK. What I dont like about it is that the kids seem to always be watching TV and the front room staff members are very rude. You ask them a simple question and they have this ability to toss it back in your face. To me, they are unprofessional in regards to how they handle questions and situations. The "teachers" are much more friendly but I would say they qualify more as the next door babysitter than actual educated individuals who are trained to educate children.

My son is 17 months old and LOVES going to school. Everyday he comes home he amazes me with what he has learned. I had him previously with a family friend, since he has been at Kendall my little boy has blossomed into a social butterfly. The staff at Kendall is beyond amazing, always so polite and respectful. Most importantly, my son loves them all. Every day when we walk out the door everyone is told "bye bye"and blown kisses.

We had our son here for only couple months before we had to move away. The hardest part about moving was not being able to keep our son in this school. He has learned so much in the short time he was there and loved going to school in the morning. The staff was all very impressive and really seemed to genuinely care for our son. I would recommend Kendall academy to anyone! Very sad we couldnt continue our son here.

I had a terrible experience. There were too many children in the classes, my child repeatedly got hurt and the owner belittled me in front of my child not to mention other parents! WORST EXPERIENCE and totally overrated.
