This review is long due to issues experienced with the company. Feel free to call me for details. I can also email pictures. They are skilled workers. They started doing very nice quality work, and accommodated my requests for increased scope for which I was charged and paid. They also kindly accommodated delays on my part for which I gave them fair notice. However, I am not recommending this company due to their lack of professionalism (1 star on customer service). Due to a personality conflict with Pauls associate and partner, Danny Rodriguez, they did not finish the job. Paul Nazarro is very nice and seems to be professional. His partner, Danny Rodriguez is his Achilles heel. After some issues with Danny, Paul was supposed to return to do some touch up at my investment condo, he never returned, and has not returned my text or call. I am going to do the touch up myself. I am rating their quality and value for the money 2 stars since they did not return to do the touch up as promised. This is a text I received from Danny Rodriguez, Pauls partner, after asking him nicely, in a voicemail, to do some touch up on some items I noticed after my first opportunity to inspect their finished work. To preface this, I live in Denver and this is an investment condo. They were paid in full for the job, over $4000, (they insisted) before I could see their finished work. I wanted to withhold $600 for about 10 days so I could make sure it met my expectations upon my return to FL, since this was my first time working with them. After my being bullied by Danny over the phone, they went by my Dads and were paid in full. (Text from Danny Rodriguez): "Good morning. This is to inform you that I received your voicemail. We have gone way beyond our scope of work for you. We have also done numerous extras for you. But most of all we have been very patient with your project. We have return to your home to complete a project that shouldve taken three days. You were supposed to leave a check which you did not. And was less than honest. So we had to drive back again to pick it up. relationships are based on trust. My point to all of this. I feel you have taken advantage of our kindness and proceed to put a cap on Our worth. We are in business to make money not to work for what you think we deserve. You have not been a good client to work for.so I will appreciate if you could MoveOn and lose Our numbers. I am embarrassed for the way that you conducting yourself. I refuse to do for the business with you. Your constant trying to get more and your lack of trust is the reason why I will never do business with you again. Best regards." After receiving the above text from Danny, I forwarded it to Paul. Paul called me, apologized, and said that it is not how he does business. He said he stands by his work and offered to return himself to finish. I texted him my tenants number on March 10th and he said via text back to me, "K. Will call her this weekend." It is April 9th, Paul never called her, and never returned to complete the touch up. I texted him and called him this week and he has not responded. This is why I like to not pay in full until I inspect the work ;(. In the future I will return to working with Neverending Colors by Tonya. She is fabulous and stands by her work. She was injured when I was working on my project which is why I tried Empire Painting. I will not be using them again! Tonya is my gal!

Generally, I notice people only write reviews to complain but when a company does outstanding work and/or provides exceptional customer service, most of us are just happy and dont waste our energy to write a negative review. However, after Empire Painters did an exceptional job painting my entire interior, while it was filled with furniture and kids after 3 p.m., I failed to write a review because frankly, I was content and extremely happy they beat out all their competitors by at least half of the next lowest bid. I understand I am almost 7 months late with the review but better late than never. In addition, I was reading a negative post below and the person indicated, Empire Painters was way overpriced. Truthfully, my first thought was, "This person must be smoking crack." or they are just really POed. Nevertheless, I dont know what their problem was or why they would write anything negative about this outstanding group of professionals. However, I will tell you, the entire crew are professionals, knowledgeable, experienced, caring, compassionate and extremely competitive when it comes to their pricing. Not only did this company do an outstanding job painting my home but the owner beat every competitors price. Moreover, Paul the owner, is a Marine and as all Marines know, attention-to-detail is trait we pride ourselves in. Despite the owner and I serving at different times, we both understand attention-to-detail is usually the difference between a great job and a piss poor job. Now I have 3 young children running around my home, destroying almost everything they touch. A few weeks ago, my nephew decided to make a secret passage and destroyed my newly painted walls. Therefore, I gave Paul a call and today he had time to come over and he repaired the wall the kids destroyed, as well as, a dozen other chips, holes and permanent marker they use to color but evidently, they used my walls, instead of their coloring books. Overall, as I said before, I never write reviews unless I am upset but with Empire Painters, I decided to make an exception. I am so happy with this company and their pricing, I just had to let my neighbors in on a well-kept secret. In addition, I had to write a review because the negative review below sounds like a load of BS to me. Should you want more information, email me and I will post pictures and my price. Obviously, someone below needs to look up the word "Integrity".

If I could I would give a minus 1 star . This company recently painted the house I rent from. We had similar experience as Elaine. Paul hadnt been paid in full yet, so he did return and did the work he said he would do but didnt. Also some touch up work on spots that were completely missed and oversprays. But , after he was paid we noticed where they had broken our hose nozzle, and painted the garage door shut and a few other things. Calls to Paul were not returned by him. Still waiting. Paul claimed what a deal he had given on the price, but he wouldnt even do simple repairs to soffits. Since then found out those repairs are ALWAYS included in price for the job. I would NEVER recommend this company, way overpriced and unprofessional.
